The first multiplayer expansion for Killzone: Shadow Fall will launch next month, and it will include new weapons, abilities and game modes.
As revealed over at the PlayStation Blog , The Insurgent Pack will feature the insurgent character class, which can hack and steal skills. The assault, scout and support classes will also get new abilities: Assault characters a nifty guard drone, scout players will receive an e-pulse emitter, and the support character can send out a tactical echo emitter to stall oncoming foes.
The Pack will even boast a new Elite Mode for the single-player portion of the game. If you think you're up to it, you'll have to deal with only three lives on hard difficulty. I wouldn't mess with that but by all means, give it a go if you're so inclined. This DLC will also include the M82 assault rifle from KZ2 and KZ3, along with the L512 SMG Pistol and Sta14 sniper rifle.

For anyone with a PS4 even if you don't have PSplus you can play shadowfalls multiplayer right now for the week.
I'm actually really digging it. No aim assist nonsense, good gun variety and an emphasis on teamwork.
Its pushing me to really consider getting PSplus and KZ.
They did a really good job with the game. Very well balanced and the classes compliment each other well.
Killzone Shadow fall is really a great example of how online Multiplayer should be done. A very well balanced and well thought out experience. I'm really digging the game.
