Ben-DutkaFor many, it's the most anticipated PlayStation 4 title on the horizon.
And now, its March 21 launch date is written in stone: Developer Sucker Punch has announced that inFamous: Second Son has gone gold.
Studio co-founder Brian Fleming made it plain on Twitter :
"Infamous: Second Son has gone GOLD!. Big day here at SPP!"
The hot new sequel will be available exclusively on the PS4 in lesst han three weeks. It's the third entry in the acclaimed open-world pseudo-superhero franchise, which did pretty well last generation. We've seen plenty of great media for this one; now we just want to play it! It'll be interesting to see how it fares because Microsoft will also launch Titanfall this month, the blockbuster new IP that isn't coming to PlayStation.
Well, whatever. I'd much rather have Second Son , anyway.

That date can't get here fast enough. This is the first game I wanted a PS4 for.
Hopefully it gets the full benefit of PS4 buyers looking for a real next gen experience. I'll be there on day 2 or 3 (Amazon doesn't do free day 1 anymore).
I need to feel that freedom of flight and destruction across a city once again. Stress makes me want to unleash my own inFamous powers.
Amazon doesn't do free day 1 on games or everything, because I just got release day delivery on a movie last week.

I'm freaking out a bit about this. Have been waiting for this game since Infamous 2 came out. I've been saving my money for a ps4 and now that I have the money saved, no ps4s to be had.
Hope amazon gets them in stock before the 21st.
Stay on your toes, I'd expect there to be at least 1 surge of consoles before SS releases.
been checking amazon every day, I have saved up $200 in amazon reward money, so if Amazon gets some in stock I'll be ready to buy.

I was thinking to myself "I swear I knew this ages ago" then I read the date of the tweet.
I've been holding off on getting the PS4 for awhile now, but this will be the first game I purchase as soon as I get it. I've gotten back into the dating scene so money is pretty scarce right now.

skeptical of this, really really want it, but im worried its just going to be another misstep like infamous 2 was.
infamous was one of the best new IPs of the generation, 2 took everything that made that so awesome and threw them out the f*cking window!
i miss the good old days where sequels built on their predecessors and improved, not threw everything out the window and created a totally new IP!
