You ready to battle more nefarious Nazis?

Bethesda Softworks has announced that Wolfenstein: The New Order will be available in North America on May 20, 2014 and on May 23 in Europe. If you pre-order the promising FPS, you'll be invited to access the DOOM beta; to learn more about this offer, click here .

In development at MachineGames, The New Order is set in an alternate reality. The year is 1960 and somehow, the Nazi regime has used a mysterious advanced technology to win World War II. Now they control the globe and as you might expect, they run it with an iron fist. How can you bring down this worldwide war machine? Oh, don't worry, you'll have some pretty nifty weaponry on your side. For more details, check out our preview .

The new Wolfenstein will release on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.

This one looks special to me. Brings back some great memories as well. I really loved Wolfenstein on the PS3!

Looking forward to this one but probably not that soon.

There's a Doom beta? I thought Doom was nowhere near completion.

Wow, what a great trailer! This game looks to be for the hardcore, old school FPS crowd! Count me in! Not sure if I can get it D1 but if I have the funds I will. The end was awesome, I had a huge grin on my face! DOOM Beta access is a seriously nice hook! Please make the Baron of Hell look more like the original DOOM. No more Alien Baron of Hell please, yuck!

The last wolfenstein I played on my PS3 had a game breaking glitch when trying to enter a certain door to go into another area in the main campaign.
Once I hit the enter button to continue on, the loading screen would come up(as usual), but it would never fully load so I could continue onward with my campaign mode.

I've tried over 50 different times over time, but still to no avail.

I pissed me off cause I really wanted to finish the game too.
