It's done!
As Eidos Montreal producer Stephane Roy proudly proclaimed over at the PlayStation Blog , the hotly anticipated Thief reboot has gone gold. This means it's cleared to hit store shelves in the US on February 25.
They also tossed over a brand new trailer, which only made us want this game even more . You are the ultimate Master Thief and you must approach each task with a cool and steady hand. The shadows are your friend and if you wish to survive, you must be, for all intents and purposes, a ghost. This is the team that brought you the excellent Deus Ex: Human Revolution a few years ago, so we have faith that they'll deliver a memorable Thief experience!
Perhaps the best part of the post is this- "The game doesn't take gamers for idiots." This means that challenge stealth fanatics seek will most certainly be there!

I should be all amped for this but for some reason I'm not. As such I'll be taking the opportunity to NOT blow another $60 and just wait awhile.
I realized that I should really stop buying games at $60 and just wait a bit before jumping on the train. I have a backlog that needs some attention.
I'm with you two. Full price purchases are from this gen on reserved only for a select few. In short: Fallout and everything BioWare.
The rest I can wait a few months extra for.
This game looks great. I can't wait to try to beat the game just by sneaking and using nonlethal attacks.
FINALLY!
been FAR too long since we saw thief in action!
so happy to see 2 of the industries oldest and best, but now abandoned franchises, finally start to come back to life!
just a shame it had to be released around 100 other big AAA games.
oh well, eidos dont come b*tching when this sells really poorly.
you have NO ONE to blame but yourselves!
maybe if this released in jan, or early feb, it would do allot better because people are begging for something to do!
Awsome about freaking time and i'll support this game fully so we can all have a theft 2 in the future.
