If you were hanging onto your current-gen system for Murdered: Soul Suspect , well…
Square Enix has announced that the anticipated "supernatural detective thriller" is also headed to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, in addition to the previously announced PS3, Xbox 360 and PC platforms. However, while the game is coming to the latter systems in June, the publisher did not provide us with a date for the next-gen versions.
Unsurprisingly, the new console iterations will boast increased visual fidelity thanks to native 1080p output. We can also expect other technical achievements, such as "subsurface scattering and an increased particle count." Players guide detective Ronan O'Connor on a quest to locate his murderer; as he's dead to start the adventure, we'll play in a darker world that's something like purgatory.
