Analysts and insiders have been saying for months that Grand Theft Auto V will likely come to next-gen consoles and PC.

While the PC faithful have been signing a successful petition to bring the award-winning title to desktops, those with a shiny new PlayStation 4 or Xbox One have been wondering: Will we get an upgraded GTAV?

Perhaps the answer is yes and in fact, you'll get it sooner than anticipated. According to TheArabGamer citing a Czech Republic site called Super Gamer, Grand Theft Auto V will release for the PS4, Xbox One and PC on June 13, 2014. Now, while I always want to be optimistic about such things, I need more than this to get excited. It's still feasible, though…

If you already played GTAV on the PS3 or 360, would you want to play the updated version on either the PS4 or Xbox One?

It's a bit late, and what more could they possibly add to the game bringing it to the next gen consoles?

Better framerate and crispier visuals. I for one have played this on PS3 and would no doubt buy it again on PS4.

They can always add missions ala Ballad of Gay Tony and The Lost and the Damned. A well as the improved visuals.

I'd rather they wait a little longer. Or allow an upgrade discount if it comes out so soon.

If so I may try it at some point since I never touched it on PS3.

I didn't touch it either. Part of the allure of video gaming, for me, is taking on the part of a character. And I have zero interest in being a gangster.

I didn't touch it either as I've been waiting for the PC version. Haven't watched any playthroughs or anything either so it'll all be fresh once I do play it.

I'm kind of tired of the formula honestly, the idea of tooling around a city and doing GTA things has lost appeal for me over the years.

Passed it up last Gen, will pass it up this Gen unless I find it really cheap just to have. No real intention to play.

To be honest I anticipated it *sooner* for the PC. After all there was some rumours about the PC version being released already Q1 of this year.

It sounded a bit too good to be true, but still… That's what I anticipated.

But maybe, just maybe this in fact will be the system seller for me, that I'll wait until June in getting me the PS4. It would be sweet: I bought the PS3 bundled with GTA4, so I'm not against continuing that tradition.

I have my PS3 right next to my PS4. Even if it lands tomorrow I wouldn't buy it all over again. It's a great game but I think I've played enough of it.
