Resogun is arguably the best PlayStation 4 game to date.

So, doesn't that mean you'd be interested in more content? When the addictive retro-themed title was nominated for "Action Game of the Year" at this year's D.I.C.E. Awards, developer Housemarque talked about it at the Resogun Facebook page .

In doing so, the studio revealed they're working to expand upon the quality title:

"At the moment we are working on Resogun DLC and another PS4 project."

They didn't provide any details but it's nice to know that some DLC is on the way. It'll also be interesting to see Housemarque's next product for the PS4; this is a proven developer that routinely gives us polished, highly engaging digital titles. As for the Resogun expansion, you can probably expect to hear something within the next month or so. After all, the game has been available since the PS4's launch.

What do you hope to see with the DLC?

I'm really excited for their next game. I would love a dead nation 2 on the PS4, or something completely new that would also be awesome. These are one of the few devs I trust to make something fun and solid with each new outing.

Really looking forward to some Resogun dlc. Finally beat the first level on Master difficulty. Think a new ship and the obvious more levels would be ideal. The other ships don't hold a candle to Nemesis to me.

one studio id really like to see stretch out a little and take on something a little more ambitious.
they have been creating some of the best downloadable titles now, so its time for them to take that one step further and bring us their first AAA retail game.
id love to see another car combat game, its such a shame they have gone the way of the dodo.
they were the go to genre in the ps1 days, and even ps2 had a few of them.
imagine wipeout HD meets twisted metal, oh now that would be SWEET!

Exactly what I was thinking, they've made so many triple-A downloadable PSN titles, it would be awesome if they would try for a little bit bigger budget retail game of some sort… I'm sure they would be able to deliver some spectacular fun there too!

One of the only games enticing me to some day buy the PS4, not enough by itself though…
