But the competition has something to say, too. First of all, you may note that the poster of this video apologizes for the quality in Part I, so don't think Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will look like this on your TV. Part II is more accurate. Secondly, just so you know, this is gameplay of the Spec Ops Survival mode and it's the Paris map. Basically, players just have to take down all the swarming terrorists and attack dogs. Look like fun?
Fans of the series have always said that Call of Duty has the best multiplayer available. DICE and EA want to contest that when BF3 launches towards the end of this month, but you can bet that the die-hard CoD followers will adore the MW3 online portion. After all, the game is designed expressly for multiplayer action (let's not kid ourselves), so this is one aspect that should shine brightly.

I don't really care about this mode. It's easy to see it was highly influenced by Zombie Mode. I would've liked if Infinity Ward came up with another special mode, kinda like how they did with Spec Ops mode. Oh well, multiplayer is my main focus when it comes to CoD games so it should be good.
Battlefield 3 will be very good too. I very well may get both.
Played that exact mode and level already got to round 12 with my mate but then got kicked off 🙁
it was fun but there wasnt much variety in the 12 rounds we did
Looks like DLC for MW2.
Maybe I will rent this just for the trophies, there's no room for another COD in my collection.
Spec Ops was the only fun aspect of MW2.
Spec ops was the best mode of mw2 …not the only fun part
all i remember is that i beat the hell out of juggernaut after juggernaut by myself in that oil rig.

Looks great. I much prefer enemy bogies with C4 on their chests than stupid giant glowing zombie dogs. It'll be late nights playing MW3 with friends come November.
Am I to understand there are no Spec Ops? Or did they just not mention it?
Special Ops were the one thing of MW2 I really, and I mean REALLY enjoyed. I was sad to see no special ops in Black Ops… looks like I'm the kind of player they aren't catering to.
Which is fine. No game is meant for everyone.
There is a Spec Ops mode.
Edit: At least as far as I'm aware. If they took it out, I will be very disappointed.

i've given up on modern warfare or any call of duty for the matter mainly because of 2 reasons. they keep releasing the same game every year and online support for the game, especially on ps3, is crap. how long did they take to "patch" modern warfare 2. i put patch in quotation marks because it really didnt fix anything.
I second that, the only game that really worths the money was the first Modern Warfare, since then, they are just selling download content at full price.
Looks like more COD fun to me. Till it's Hacked,Exploited,and Lag switched to it's death. Probably bout 3 months or less. Seems to me it's what this current generation of gamers is into. Ruining the top games just to get a few more kills. Instead of getting better by learning to play without exploiting,hacking,or lag switching. I'm old school,i respect the dev's work and play the games the way their supposed to be played. This current generation of gamers is sorry,pathetic,and is mainly interested in the cheapest way to get a kill possible. You know who you are. Thumb it down cheaters cause you know i'm right.

im so happy to see co-op make a massive comeback this year!
almost every game on ps1 and ps2 had co-op, but ever since the new consoles released up until this year really only a few games had it.
but now almost every game has co-op of some sort!
Spec Ops Survival mode is a blast – played at COD XP – made it to level 19.
Can't wait for MW3.
Random question, but why did they take Model 1887's and completely modernize them, then still call them Model 1887?
