Hot women and hot cars go together like peanut butter and jelly.

As various entertainment sources are reporting, Electronic Arts and Sports Illustrated have teamed up to bring you two sexy, sultry opponents in the upcoming Need for Speed: The Run , a coast-to-coast dash.

They drive Nissan 370Zs and yeah, they're real-life swimsuit models . It's Sports Illustrated Swimsuit 2011 cover model Irina Shayk and another featured model in that issue, Christine Teigen. Oh yes, they're worth checking out.

The ladies will play best friends and professional racers Mila Belova and Nikki Blake in the game. Don't let their looks fool you; they're highly competitive and even downright ruthless. They want to reach New York City first to claim that $25 million prize. And by the way, if you're a Sports Illustrated subscriber, you'll receive "an exclusive offer for the Need for Speed: The Run value bundle." And that includes a Making of DVD and the game for only $49.95.

I won't feel bad beating 'em. They can make their millions other ways.

Will this mean that the female opponents will approach a T-junction and stall, then frantically try and continue but end up crying while a man drives her to the finish line???

They should have the import tuner models instead, I think it will fit better, I guess it's too late.

Cool. Frostbite2 looks impressive graphically.
I just home EA doesn't take credit for being having the 1st game to play the model character modeling card. The B&B bosses on MGS4 were based off of real models.

Damn I hope we can customise our appearance. That guy looked like a generic douche…

Part of me thinks that part of Gran Turismo's unpopullarity in certain circles is due to it now sinking down to this. It dares to strive to be greater than what people expect of racing in games.

This crap really doesn't impress me, not one bit.

im really looking forward to this it looks like allot of fun!
nice to see blackbox finally on the way back, all the NFS titles they done this year have been pretty lacklustre.
undercover was probably the best one, but no where near as good as some of the ps2 classics!
i wish we would get a ps2 HD collection, id kill to be able to play undercover, undercover 2 and my personal favourite most wanted, all in glorious HD!

Sure they don't necessarily make a game better, but it can't hurt..

I know one thing for sure, I am much more likely to sit through a romantic comedy with my girlfriend if the staring female role is really good looking.
