There are many games that support PlayStation Move compatibility, and if you're a shooter fan, you'll want the Sharp Shooter accessory, too.
But maybe that endeavor has been a touch too pricey. If that's the case, you should take advantage of this week's sale at GameStop, where they're offering 50% off on Sony's motion-sensing device and the almost necessary peripheral for FPSs.
For this week only, you can grab the Move controller for $24.99 instead of $49.99, and the Move Sharp Shooter for $19.99, half the cost of its standard $39.99 price tag. Also, to round out the combination, you can nab the Navigation controller from Amazon for $14.99, another $50% off sale (it normally costs $29.99). If you're in the market for a PS3, remember that the standard 160GB machine has dropped in price to $249.99, while the 320GB console is $349.99.
Personally, I haven't used the Move controller for much besides reviews. But maybe that'll change some time soon. I've got Child of Eden here; that ought to be intriguing.
also selected Move games are $9.99. You guys should try out The Fight: Lights Out, very fun and underrated game. You will burn 1000's of calories without even knowing it hahaha

i bought the fight lights out, took me a while to find a store with the game in stock. gamestop stock for this sale is pitiful.
I also want to add the The Fight is a fun and functional game. I don't know why the critics were all over this. If the calorie counts are accurate in this game you can burn a couple hundred within a half hour.
Hmm. I have the Move but I got it with EyePet for my daughter. Haven't really done much with it myself apart from some Sports Champions. It's at least worth it for an extra controller at 50% off.
On the topic of deals. BestBuy Canada has 160Gb PS3 + Uncharted 2 on for 219.99 right now. You just can't go wrong with that. I'm considering it myself!
I bought the PS Move and the Sharpshooter. I tried it on Killzone 3 and SOCOM 4, with mixed results.
The aiming was great for me, but the movement and keeping the reticule centered was an issue.
Still trying to get the hang of the sharpshooter myself (turning one way while aiming the other is the biggest feat) but Lord with just the Move and the navi, Clean Headshot city, population: ME! Works great with Resistance and Killzone….Mag….eh. maybe because it doesnt have the same magnitude of customization.
if you make the sensitivity box, i forgot what they call it, small its easier to move and shoot.
Yeah but what about the little motion capturing cámara you need to Play the move
the sale is assuming you already bought a starter pack. its selling you extra accessories and more move games.
I know right shows how cheap I am lol
Mr. Dutka, don't go endorsing products that you yourself barely use… if we do not hear that you're kicking some alien butt with it soon, we won't buy it!
I think the fact that he mentioned he doesn't use it makes it a non-dorsement.
I think you need to understand the difference between endorsement/promotion and news.
so you're faulting someone for passing along a great deal. ben might not play with the move much but there are a lot of people who like playing move.
Exactly what johnld said.
i love it when people take comments waay too seriously… I was just kidding. Did ya'll miss the part where I said "if we do not hear you're kicking alien butt with it soon, we won't buy it"
I would love this deal, if I didn't already have 2 of everything (except sharpshooter). Great price point if you are curious enough to want to dabbble in the Move compatible games. None of them are REALLY anything to write home about, but there is some fun to be had.
Why anybody would by a 320 GB PS3 for $349.99 right now is beyond me, what with the announcemnt of the U3 320 GB bundle for only $299.99. If I wasn't already spoiled by multiple PS3's, I'd be all over it.
They should just give a million away like MS did with Kinect, then people will be forced to buy the games to get any use out of it.
but then there'd be thousands and thousands of vids on the net of xbots destroying them…
Yeah those destroying video are something huh
Damn that's cheap. Americans are spoilt
Ben, don't you mean the 320gb is 299.99? The 320GB Move Bundle I think it $349.99.
Anyway, this is really tempting me to finally get a Nav. Controller. I'm not sure if I'd still pay that much just for comfort though, consider the DS3 works fine.
Trust me, the navi just feels….natural. Way than the DS3. Jump in!
awesome deal!!!
i'd forget about gamestop stores. they said the sale was supposed to last 3 weeks staring last wednesday but they wont have any move controllers in stock and wont get more till the sale ends. theres a lot of gamestops around me and there was only one with 1 move controller in stock and only 1, a different store, gamestop with the fight lights out. i would go to amazon, apparently they matched it.
So, price cuts for lumps of plastic with $5 of electronics crammed in side are incoming?
Good deals in this economy are always appreciated by me. I'll try to pick up the controllers I'm missing/ have been wanting to pick up.
I picked up another Move controller, Start the Party, and Move Heroes last week when the sale started. Great deal people shouldn't pass up.
Also next week K-Mart is doing the same thing except no games on sale. They will also be selling the Sports Champion starter pack for 50% off.
i was really tempted to get a sharpshooter for R3 and KZ3 but ill wait till it comes down in price.
no way in hell im paying 80 bucks for a crappy piece of plastic!
Man, I hit that Gamestop sale running so damned hard, that I felt like I just finished off a Ginger Baker drum solo!
Picked up a 2nd Move controller, a 2nd Navigator, and a Sharpshooter.
I also picked up all 6 of these $39.99 Move games that Gamestop also marked down to only $9.99 for their sale…
The Fight: Lights out
TV Superstars
The Shoot
Eyepet
Start The Party
Playstation Move Heroes
