We have to admit, Capcom's Dragon's Dogma has piqued our interest.
A game that combines hardcore role-playing elements with satisfying action mechanics is intriguing. The promising adventure got some attention at this year's Tokyo Game Show; here's a great look at someone playing it on the show floor. It shows off a field quest and we get a good idea of the action/RPG gameplay; it sort of reminds us of Dragon Age crossed with White Knight Chronicles . It might be a little lighter than that, though.
So what do you think? Is Capcom capable of producing such a game? Will it appeal to the hardcore role-playing fanatics, or will those purists have to make some exceptions for the action parts? And what sort of review scores do you see it pulling down?
