Yeah, we know more about Final Fantasy XIII-2 (which doesn't seem right, but whatever) but some really don't like the direction that game is taking.
Others think Square Enix is fixing things for the avid FF followers. But we've also seen snippets of Versus XIII and we're bound to see more this week at the Tokyo Game Show. So when that happens, you'll be more qualified to answer the question in the headline. Think about it for a minute: based on everything you've seen and heard thus far, which title seems more up your alley? Neither really seems to be a great option for the hardcore role-playing purists; the ones who have disliked the Final Fantasy name since FFXIII.
There's little doubt that both games in question will boast insanely high production values. And obviously, both feature a form of real-time combat, like it or not. If you didn't like FFXIII, maybe Versus XIII is a big enough departure; if you're a new fan, maybe all you want is a sequel to FFXIII. It'll be interesting to read the feedback from both younger and older gamers…
