Supposedly, Batman: Arkham City will provide over 30 hours of gameplay. And that's sufficient.
But if you love the game (and that's likely to happen), you'll want to play through again and take advantage of that New Game+ option. Many have asked what the benefits are of starting over after completing the campaign and now, Rocksteady community manager Sarah May has given us the answers .
Firstly, you'll start your New Game+ with all your earned experience, including unlocked upgrades. That's awesome but don't think you'll be running around as a superhero God: there will be no counter icons over enemies, the thugs will be tougher right from the start of the game, and bosses will give you more of a challenge. In other words, it's just like Hard mode except that you have all your upgrades, so you get the technical edge. Might as well take all the help you can get!
It sounds great but here's my problem: Batman: Arkham City comes out on October 18, right in the midst of the release insanity. Who the hell is gonna have time to play through the game again? I mean, I'm sure it'll be great but there's just so much to play…
