As we've already seen with L.A. Noire , faces are crucial for conveying emotion.
And the developers of Amy fully understand that concept: a face is worth a thousand words, and Lexis Numérique is working hard to deliver realistic, effective faces for their new terrifying project, Amy .
Check out the "faces of horror" at the PlayStation Blog , where we also learn more about the characters involved. We already know about Lana and Amy; the former is a young woman infected by the spreading post-apocalyptic plague, and Amy is a quiet, mysterious 8-year-old who never speaks. The two must work together to survive and during their quest, they'll come across other people affected by the outbreak.
The two featured here are Father John and Professor Raymond. Father John is a priest in Silver City, and he believes the disease is "final proof that Armageddon is near." Therefore, he tries to organize any remaining survivors to resist the "demonic invasion." Professor Raymond is more mysterious; we don't know much about him yet, and that's probably for the sake of story surprises. Anyway, you have to admit, those faces are excellent, aren't they?
And have you forgotten that this is a downloadable game? Amy is scheduled to release exclusively on the PlayStation Network, but we don't have an estimated release date yet.
