If you want to keep playing Deus Ex: Human Revolution , make sure to pick up the first piece of downloadable content next month.

Square Enix has announced The Missing Link DLC for the critically acclaimed sci-fi RPG, and it essentially expands the storyline.

Beware of potential spoilers!!!

The new content follows events that occur in the game, when Adam Jensen mysteriously goes AWOL for three days. He has lost his augmentation powers and, stripped bare of his almost supernatural abilities, he must find a way to escape a freighter. We'll meet some new characters and face down new foes, and Square Enix says players should enjoy the opportunity to rebuild Jensen's skills from scratch.

End possible spoilers

We don't have an exact date or price just yet, but we're sure that'll show up soon. We love the atmosphere and plot in Human Revolution and the idea of testing Jensen without his augmentations is intriguing. At the start of the game, we don't have much to work with, so presumably, it'll feel just like that…only even barer. Should be challenging!

No. I don't look forward to rebuilding his augs from scratch. You know how much time I spent looking for those extra Praxis kits?!?!

Regardless, I DO look forward to new story elements! I am completely hooked on DX:HR!

Guys, I'm not sure about this, but I'm guessing this will just allow you to put all your praxis points into new augs once you get them back.

I m a little tired of short 1 hour dlc .

Since the game makes a lot out of fairly tight quarters I think it will be longer. I expect a new area with the standard amount of time spent on a quest from the introduction of the area to the boss. So like 5 hours all things complete I'd say.

The DLC pack is called 'The Missing Link'… more like the missing original content, this game has not even been out for a month and there's DLC. This is why I hate DLC, companies just exploit it.

Thanks for the heads up on the Spoiler part. I think there is enough Originally Bought Content in Deus Ex to keep me entertained. The replay value is looking more and more appealing. I'm going though as the stealthy assassin this time. But I kinda want to be a run and gun / social baddass at some point.

"But I kinda want to be a run and gun / social baddass at some point."

It will be more like a run , hide then gun tho .Using the social action keep you out of a lot of trouble/action tho .

I just want to go for the polar opposite of what I'm doing now.
