Yeah, everyone takes vacation during the summer. Even video game protagonists.
Hamilton's Great Adventure , a downloadable adventure game with a lot of color and charm, was supposed to have arrived on the PlayStation Network in April. But that didn't happen. It missed the estimated July date, too. But now we have a solidified date for this month; the reason for missing the July launch was simple:
The main character, Ernest Hamilton, took five weeks off. "So, he could not be bothered with any sort of adventure during July spilling over to August." Said Martin Wahlund, Fatshark CEO and Executive Producer:
"We planned to have Hamilton's Great Adventure out on PlayStation®Network in July, but as Ernest was away working on his tan we decided to move the release to August. Then he could not do the first couple of weeks in August as he was at some music festival in Norrbotten, and we decided to go with August 23rd and 24th."
This Hamilton guy sounds a little lazy. But he'll soon have to embark on his noble adventure with his avian companion, Sasha; they'll have to cooperate if they wish to progress. The gameplay features both "action puzzling" and standard problem solving, along with "an immersive storyline." So if you're interested in giving it a try, it's August 23 for the US gamers.
