Hey. You can't have a "Game of the Year Edition" if the title in question never received that honor from anywhere.

But wait, maybe you can. And besides, Two Worlds II did indeed generate plenty of loyal fans and followers; those who will defend the game to the death. Perhaps this impressive Game of the Year Edition is for them: it's a beautiful bundle package that features the game, the new Pirates of the Flying Fortress DLC, a map, collectible pin, a bonus disc with artwork, videos and wallpapers, soundtrack, two PvP maps and the velvet case; it's red for consoles and black for PC/Mac users.

It's one of the better packages we've seen even if we don't know the price just yet. It'll be available on October 18 for all those interested; we'd advise you to read our review and perhaps more importantly, chat with some fans. If this sounds like the type of game you'd enjoy, you could really love it despite the flaws.

LoL

I want to release a game simply titled, Game of the Year.
Then one year later re-release as Game of the Year: Game of the Year Edition
=p

LOL

Something tells me they thought of this well before they ever got any review scores for the game.

Awful game, I could appreciate the scope of what they were attempting but there were so many things wrong with it and the controls I just couln't continue. The game itself really would not let me play it so I sold the bastard.

Thats because there can be only one World.

Actually once I turned down the camera and got through the awfully done prologue I simply fell in love with the game. No it's not game of the year material but I think it has gotten a bad rap and is worth another look at.

Kinda dumb. Game of the year edition? For a game that didn't get GOTY? Whats next? Shooter of the year who didn't acually get shooter of the year?

Don't give Activision any new ideas. Although some might argue it actually is.

maybe there is some obscure website that gave it goty honors. maybe other low scoring games can copy this. dnf and haze goty editions? lost planet 2 goty?

i want to be clear. i have not played two worlds so i'm only commenting on the scores it received.

As far as I know it didn't win any GOTY awards but I do know it was nominated by a few websites, Gamespot being one. Maybe just being nominated in that category is all it takes nowadays.

And though it wasn't the best RPG to come out in a while, it was still much improved over the previous one.

The game plays a lot like Oblivion with many enhancements in item crafting, skills and magic creation. I was a fan until yesterday. The game suddenly became slow as hell. Almost to the point of becoming unplayable. No fix has been made and apparently this has being reported since January (the game dropping frame rates halfway of the campaign 'till the end). Thank God I rented it by mail (instead of buying it from bargain bin). I was giving it an 8.5 score in my book, but it has now dropped to 5.5. I'm so upset!

Don't say that… it might mean that they include SP DLC in Uncharted 3…

Why can't they just do like Assassin's Creed and do a complete edition? Don't get me wron, GOTY edition is more impressive, but it's false advertising.

Hah, it still cracks me up.

They should've just been even more presumptuous and titled it "Game of the Decade Edition"

Imagine all the copies sold =p

Oh, and if theyre looking to win an end of year award for something, I think they just did. "Worst Marketing Award" goes too….

I had the game and put around 10 hours into it and unfortunately, I got bored of it.

When it comes to RPG's/open world games, the story had better bring me in, or it will not last.
