Batman will face quite a few recognizable villains in Arkham City , and one of them is the infuriating Riddler.
He'll likely tax Batman's problem-solving abilities in the game; if you're not careful – and thoughtful – you might just end up dead. No more Caped Crusader just 'cuz The Riddler tricked you. Here's the first trailer for the green villain who loves question marks; it only proves once again that Batman: Arkham City will be an absolute gem for superhero fanatics.
Wouldn't it have been funny if Rocksteady had gotten Jim Carrey as the voice? This guy sounds a little like him, but not quite. Anyway, when all this is over, we still hope the team takes on Superman, just because "the original" doesn't deserve to have such a crappy video game legacy.

I agree Ben. Superman needs the Rocksteady treatment.
Batman AC is looking more impressive every time I see it in action.
I think superman simply is too "super", he's pretty much immortal except for those cryptonite stones. What's the fun in playing a character who can't be shot, can't be burned, can't be touched basically, while being strong enough to lift anything, crush anything and alter the bane of planets with his breath. I mean… It's just too much.
Imo there are hundreds of superheroes more suitable for games (and movies) than mr Kent.
True…superman is a horrible video game character…more like an unlockable character.
@Beamboon
I disagree. I think the problem with making games for the Big Blue Boy Scout, aside from the fact that the games were crap, is the fact that the games weren't made around his powers if that makes sense. Of course he's more or less a demigod but he does have weaknesses; kryptonite and magic being the two. That and the right villains; Luthor, Brainiac, Parasite, Metallo, Lobo, Zod, Bizarro, Mister Mxyzptlk, Granny Goodness, Kalibak, Darkseid and Doomsday I think would make a great game. And I do believe that rocksteady would be able to pull it off. One can dream.
They should do some Superman games and then do a Batman/Superman crossover with the main villain Darkseid! That would be kind of cool.
But, come on guys. We all know that Superman64 was the best comicbook game in existence! …Right? Haha.
Soo cool… The Riddler and The Joker were always my favorites Batman villains, just because they both use to outsmart him. Looking forward to being puzzled with the new set of challenges…

I am so looking forward to this game!
I know Rocksteady is going for a darker look but they need to improve the graphics.
After playing Infamous 2 ,Super Hero Games have been taken to another level.
it'll be hard for them to improve the graphics becuase they are using the outdated unreal3 engine. i just count my stars they were able to get what they did out an aging engine that's been pretty notorious for favoring the 360 platform. batman aa turned out pretty decent for an unreal3 powered title on the ps3.
Based on the footage I've seen, Arkham City looks just as good if not better than inFamous 2.
@Kiryu…whats wrong with the graphics…every gameplay trailer I see looks great.
Gotta agree with Ben..Although I love inFamous 2 it didn't really blow me away graphically. It was impressive compared to the original. Batman looks just as good

Man I've been waiting on this..Looks like it'll immerse me like AA did
I can't wait to get my hand on this game… Thinking I will have a few sleepless days
Man, Rocksteady has really created a unique universve with so much soul. Batman AA was freakin great…I was blown away by how original it actually was. Fastforward now and Batman AC looks like huge step forward.
Rocksteady also created a universe in which official superhero's and their games don't suck!
Rocksteady is one my favorite developers. Cool Im loving the Riddler and I hope Scarecrow is returning too. Rocksteady should give us Superman and Wonder Woman.
That's just simply bad ass! I can't believe it took this long to credit comic characters with all the potential they deserve. Indeed, this is something I highly anticipate!
Side note… Hello to all! I've miss this site.. Glad to be back around!
Kinda has some Saw feelings in the video.
I hope that this time Bats is able to get his hands on the Riddler, although it was funny the way Batman got the Riddler in the hands of the law in AA. These new puzzles seem more fiendish and deadly this go around. And I do agree Ben, rocksteady should take on Superman. I know that these guys can give Big Blue the game he so rightfully deserves.
I'm on the side of there's better heroes to make games from. I don't think action games should all be similar but Superman is one of my least favourites despite being one of the few famous Canadian characters.
Spawn would get my vote but I imagine whatever Rocksteady works on will be a blast. Just please no camptain America.
Speaking of, I finally got infamous 2, no hero edition but I only want the powers and the soundtrack anyway.
please, oh please for the love of god let us beat his smug face in!
god he pissed me off in AA, its time for some payback!
The riddler will always be Jim carrey in my mind
Not for me. It's either Frank Gorshin for the 60's live action tv series or John Glover who did the Riddler's voice in Batman:TAS. He was Lionel Luthor in Smallville.
Just watched the vieo and the voice did remind me of Jim Carrey.
