So you've done absolutely everything there is to do in Dragon Age II . But you still can't get enough.

So here comes the downloadable content; as revealed at BioWare's website , Dragon Age II: Legacy DLC becomes available on July 26. We'll finally be able to "leave Kirkwall," as the announcement reads, and we'll check out a prison constructed by the Grey Wardens. The extra content features an ascent into "several new locations," Darkspawn foes, a new class-specific weapon, and frighteningly, the opportunity to challenge "an ancient horror." The best part is that this additional quest is playable from any point in the DAII campaign, so you don't have to worry about your progress. As for price, this piece of DLC will cost $9.99 on the PlayStation Network and 800 Microsoft Points on the Xbox 360, PC and Mac.

All we need now is an early look at the third Dragon Age . You know they're working on it…

By the way. I've been to the real Kirkwall in the Orkney Islands north of the Scottish mainland.

Wonderful place. Loads of viking, celtic and medieval ruins.

Recommended. (just thought I would share that)

You're probably one of the very few gamers that not only know the real Kirkwall, but have actually been there. 😉

Sorry but that's too lame too late and I aint paying for it. This game was the letdown of the year and I'm sellin' it. Bioware is giving up on RPG gamers too early.

It wasn't that bad, you're over-exaggerating!! I bet you'll regret selling it. I've regretted selling many of my games from years ago. :/

I think I reviewed it around 8.3, no it isn't a bad game at all, just a big let down that goes backward from the awesome first game. I have no desire to go back through it and make different decisions to find out what happens though. And when I get DAIII (probably at a reduced price) I'll still have my save file.

Where are your reviews?

yeah, DAII wasn't that bad at all, it just wasn't your preference. I loved it though, but I'm not a big classic RPG fan so I yeah…lol. Won't be getting this DLC though.

@claire and world

i agree with both of you. i share some of world's sentiments about being letdown by da2, and i also agree with claires's feelings of regret in selling games. i have had that feeling many times, and actually have repurchased some the games i have sold.

Basically I'm keeping absolute essentials to the collection and selling what I'm fairly certain I won't ever play again. I'm also keeping games that, with my experience, know will become rare later on.

If I get an urge to play another again I think in the long run I'll still save money just by buying it again later used.

I KEEP EVERYTHING! Even the lame ones. =>.>=

I used to do that too Claire, but I just can't afford to any more. I have a good system in place now I think where if I can't get all the way through it or wouldn't want to play it a second time there's no need to keep it.

If it works. =)

I buy the majority of my games for generally pretty cheap online months after they've released and I'm pretty good about not buying bad ones, so I don't see a need to sell. Plus I like collecting. 😛

That's exactly how I do too, Claire. After a few months you get like four games for the price of one d1p. That always feel good. 🙂

I regret selling Demon's Souls. I did it, because of the developer's decision of not making a DLC. Still, I miss playing it (finished the game only twice). I would probably get DAII's DLC later at a cheaper price.

World,
It's a good thing you aren't a serious collector then.

I mean like you would wind up needing every game regardless if it's great or it's so bad, that it will even gag a maggot(like some stinkers that are in my collections)

And the answer's no, I haven't included Barbie's Riding Academy into my collection……..yet! LOL.

Sweet! I enjoyed DA2 for what it was! An entry level RPG catering to a younger gamer. More Quests for my Destroyer of Worlds Mage and more places to explore. I'm in. Don't have any RPG's in the playstack right now, so DA2 could come back out.

So, this will be more like a Warden's Keep expansion rather than Awakening?
