Rocksteady Studios hasn't been shy about sharing new details on Batman: Arkham City , so we know a lot about it.
We've heard all about the characters, from The Joker to Catwoman to Two Face to The Riddler and more, and we've learned about much of the style, setting, and gameplay.
But the team isn't about to tell all just yet, and reminds us that there were some surprises in Arkham Asylum . According to what UK studio boss Sefton Hill told CVG , most of what we've seen is featured in the "first one or two hours of the game." But that's it. And with a campaign that will take at least 10 hours (with 40 total hours of content jammed in, if you wish to partake), that means there's plenty left to reveal. But not yet… Said Hill:
"We're really proud of the story we've written for this game and we want people to experience it when they play the game. There were a number of surprises when you played Arkham Asylum and there'll definitely be a lot of surprises in this when you get it in your hands."
These days, it almost seems like we know too much about highly anticipated blockbuster releases, as every major source covers most every significant news story pertaining to the title. And with tons of videos and screenshots, it often feels as if there are no surprises left when cracking open that new game.
This get's a little annoying, actually. Good to see one studio that doesn't wish to spill all the beans early.
