Okay, we can't be sure about that NGP project, but at least we know it takes place "in the Bioshock universe."
Firstly, Ken Levine just showed up at Sony's E3 conference to announce that the upcoming Bioshock Infinite will support PlayStation Move. Ironically enough, this comes after comments from Levine that called the effectiveness of motion sensing gaming into question. On top of which, PS3 owners who purchase Infinite will also receive the original Bioshock title for free; it'll be on the same Blu-Ray disc. Lastly, Levine announced they're currently working on a project for the NGP (Next Generation Portable or PSP2 or PS Vita or whatever). We don't get a title so it remains a mystery project, but Tretton said it was within the Bioshock universe, so that's good news. We're big fans of the series in question; we just love the stories and action.
Now, onto more good news from E3…
Related Game(s): Bioshock Infinite
I doubt they can fit 3 games on 1 BluRay, but I really could've gone for Bioshock 2 on that disc as well 😉 That would have made my day.
Different developer. Irrational don't really consider B2 to be one of *their* Bioshock games.
What Fane said. Plus, in my opinion BioShock was better than B2. it just had more soul.
Beamboom – I agree with that big time!!
Dammit, I got Bioshock for my 360 just a month ago, I should of have waited. Why didn't they tell from the begining???
Because they didn't want Xbots to feel too betrayed for losing what was once their prized exclusive to the PS3 owners for FREE. At least, not from the beginning.

That might be it but for those of us who don't care at all about console wars this could have been an important thing to know from the begining. Lol.
You couldn't have spent too much money on it. Bioshock 2 is $10 new.
Yeah, it didn't cost that much but nothing beats for free. Lol.
I bought it at around USD 29.00. That may sound like a robbery but I don't live in the US and game prices don't come down as fast. The lastest games cost around USD 80.00. Insane.
US citizens have it so easy with fast cheapining games. (Looks with envy eyes, lol).
love bioshock SO MUCH!
This will be mine
Sounds pretty epic.
Wish they showed more plasmids but it looks great, PSV is lookin good right now with uncharted.
this looks awesome. And I never played the first Bioshock. Maybe it'd be a good time to take advantage of it.
Sony is making a killing with the Vita with all the games they're announcing. While LittleBigPlanet and ModNation Racers are not necessarily new, they seem to be a perfect fit for their next handheld. I'm absolutely getting the Vita! Add to that all the third-party support, it sure looks like Sony has learned with all the the missteps they made with the PSP.
Note: Still trying to get used to the name "Vita". Not the coolest thing ever, but it's starting to grow on me.
Holy bleep Street Fighter X Tekken on the PS vita plus Cole as a playable fighter.
Best news of the night, Vita-wise: Two models. Wi-fi model will cost $249. The 3G model will cost $300.
After 1 and 2 I'm sold on Infinite. Having that Bioshock feeling in the skies of Columbia will be a treat for me.
As for the Vita, I have to ask if the chambers will or won't be there (You get a cookie if you understand what I just asked indirectly…).
respawn points
Where's my cookie?
The Bioshock for Vita could be cool. I hope that it actually has a whole new setting… Like the moon. Hmm, maybe not. But with one being underwater, the second being in the sky, why not?
As for Bioshock on Infinite, I hope that it has a make-over with the Infinite engine. Imagine the beauty of Rapture with the Unreal 3.x engine over the current 2.x engine.
Beautiful. I had to sell the original Bioshock when I was strapped for cash, and I hadn't been able to finish it yet, so it's nice to know that I'll be getting it when I get this game. Can't wait for this!
Not necessarily my game, but this looked awesome too, Bioshock on Vita as well? Interesting.
Bioshock can do no wrong. I wish we had a release date for Infinite though.
This is going to be another "Must Own" for me.
BTW, you know what would be way super-cool, is that once we play through to the credits, that Irrational would also allow us to Free-roam all over on that Roller-coaster thingie(without enemies)just for an separate extra-bonus thrill-ride alone.

Bioshock on ngp??? Oh yay – *that* is the system seller for me. I shall play that game!
move?
no thanks!
bioshock on PS Vita?
OH F*CK YEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Again…
Holy Shiznit!!!!
Free Bioshock with Bioshock Infinite?!?!
AND it'll support PS Move?!?!
This game just moved from my PC list to my PS3 wishlist.
After playing Heavy Rain and Killzone 3 on Move, I've been converted. Now, I have that Sharpshooter on my mind…
And a Bioshock pet project on Vita!!! This is unbelievable!!! That handheld is getting more support from 3rd party devs before launch than the 3DS got over the last 6 months!!!
This is great news. I can now trade in my old copy of Bioshock for some store credit at Gamestop. I will be getting Infinite day 1 and the Vita Bioshock shortly after it comes out.
