Assassin's Creed: Revelations should make a big splash at E3 next week.
We've seen the official announcement and a bunch of pertinent details; but now, we want to check out some gameplay. The teaser trailer that popped up today on YouTube doesn't oblige but it still gives us our first look at an older, more determined Ezio. This time around, the storyline appears to be broader in scope, focusing on such things as fate and destiny…
He didn't do a whole lot of probing into his past in last year's Brotherhood , but that's mostly because the Borgia were causing all sorts of problems. Now that Ezio has handled that issue, it's time to examine his own past and arrive at some personal answers. And as you can see, the full reveal trailer is less than a week away: June 7!
I love AC games <3
Looking forward to it!
This is my favorite series this generation.

I can't wait to ad this ac game to my as of date complete ac collections. ( I'm only including the ps3 games in the collection )
Bring it on!
Hell yeah!! love the AC series. Just platinum AC2 and rolling through brotherhood now and loving every min!
sold!
(…already long time ago…)
What this game will explore is what Altair tried to explore after AC1 in the Codex. He'll be consumed with the Apple's power. Maybe he'll try to discover immortality?
Either way, it will rule. -sigh- November is going to be busy. Wonder how Ben copes with so many games.

Yay!
Man AC, too me, is better than most PS3 exclusives because of it story and unique gameplay. I consider this seris to be one of those multiplaform based series that make you forget about exclusives until you pop one back in and realize PS3 is capable of so much more graphical, but for the most part AC has been stellar since ACII and I usually want it more than any other game yearly outside of Uncharted, just recently Mass Effect, and anything Rockstar spits out. ACI was different, but ACII changed the game and Brotherhood really amped up expectations. Revelation better be great because they've been on a roll since II, but no more spin offs after this…gives us 3.
This trailer reminds me Soul Calibur-LOL Sorry!
i am playing brotherhood right now and loving it. after reading about the new one in game informer i cant wait to play this. they are really doing an awesome job with these games.
Maybe this is the last one before 3 with desmond.
I still don't get it, ACII is a major improvement over the first but the game is sooo clunky. I hope the new ones address this.

Clunky? What do you mean?
There is almost no flow to free running or the combat–sometimes I think I can see a pause between animations.
That clear things up?
Ah, World, you big ol' perfectionist you! 🙂
I don't mind those little pauses, Kanga, in fact I barely notice them. I probably wouldn't have thought about it until you brought it up now, in fact.
As for me, I love the story, I love being stealthy, I love how cool I feel as a sneaky assassin (in fact, I'll restart a memory if I alert someone)… I dunno. I don't think it's nearly as well done as Uncharted or God of War… I mean, no honest person could ever pretend those games aren't the best made games out there… but for some reason, despite me also very much loving Uncharted, I can't help but adore Assassin's Creed. It won me over for best series this gen in terms of which one I liked the best.
What more can a gamer ask for?
For an assassin you are more like a tank. I know stealth games can be sort of like that, but there should be some kind of smoothness. The fighting system just doesn't fit in my opinion. I don't feel cool at all, I feel stiff.
The fistfights in LA Noire are better, and those are like fighting by controlling marionette corpses (one of the few parts of the game that doesn't work)
i for 1 thought they really improved the combat in ac2. & then nailed it in brotherhood. but what do i know i'm just a dumd ghetto kid.

Whao World…fistfights in LA Noire are better than AC's fighting…lmao…that's a bold statement don't you think because LA Noire fist fights are incredibly uninspiring. AC feels just right…realistic, but arcady enough to have fun. Everyone can't be as smooth in the open world setting as Cole you know.
I love AC.. Can't wait to see what Ubi have in store for us.
In the words of Assassin's Creed Leonardo "How exciting!".
(ezio knocks on door) (Leonardo answers) ezio so good to see how may i help ? (ezio pulls out codex page) (Leonardo) aha! you found another 1 how exciting!… good times good times
Well, once again I gotta say that I really wasn't digging this one when they were teasing it, but after the reveal in GI I'm definitely getting this day one. This is definitely one of the best multiplat series out there right now, and I can't wait for that trailer on June 7.
I'm excited for this. I just finished the main story in Brotherhood (now waiting for PSN to come back so I can play the DLC extras).
These games are just great. One of the few that my wife and I can enjoy together. She's a huge history buff and loves seeing these historical cities in all their splendor. And she fills in the gaps and gives me even more back story on some of the key historical figures that pop up throughout the game. Makes it that much more enjoyable when I don't need to schedule game time around wife time, she looks forward to me playing AC… and that RULES!
I love forward to this game. I really don't mine if they release one every year. Unlike Cod, this has a story and a new city to explore. There is something about this game that is just fun and addicting to me, and probably a few out there too. AC1 and Brotherhood were the best. AC2 sucked, I hated Ezio in that one, plus I kept having problems controlling him. AC:B was an improvement. Now let's see what happens 6/7
soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo cant wait for this!
was a little skeptical about it, but theres some really interesting details in the GI mag that convinced me.
Anxiously awaiting the E3 news and trailer for Revelations next week!
