With the calls from dispatch and all those stops you have to make for your current case, you probably don't have time for much else.
But maybe there will come a time when you wish to explore more of 1947 Los Angeles; a city meticulously created by Team Bondi. There are incentives to explore the immersive world of L.A. Noire , too; you've got 50 film reels to find, 30 landmarks to spot, 95 cars to sample, and 13 newspapers to locate. The latter is more story-related but the other three are bound to have you running about for hours. It's a big damn city and to find all 50 film reels, you're gonna need some help. GamesRadar has posted up a guide to all 50 reel locations and all 30 landmarks. Videos and larger maps are on the way as well, so if you're a hardcore completionist, you'll be thankful to have such a resource.
Remember the 100 hidden packages in GTA? Man, I actually did that…multiple times, too. But of course, there was no chance of finding them all without guides like this.

Cool… I find the reels and landmarks on my 2nd playthrough right now I just focused on the newspapers. L.A. Noire is truly a gem.
When can we expect a review from you Ben?
Later tonight.
Now these are gonna be fun, who cares about locating a bunch of packages and pigeons? I love the newspaper stories and little history lessons in this game.
I really hate hunting down hidden packages in order to get 100% trophy status.
I think its an unoriginally boring way to extend playtime.
Less packages more missions!
I'm speaking from a GTA,RDR & Infamous POV as i haven't had the pleasure of playing La noire, that happens 2moro……….WAHOOO!
Where's the review Ben? 🙂
A little hint for you…….
Re-read the comment section, the answer you seek is already in there, young grasshopper
Twas also in the L.A.N. article yesterday. Read friends and remember!
Most interesting thing that I read was 95 cars, I love trying to drive all the different vehicles. Sadly some previous Rockstar games had very little to offer in this department. Glad to see team bondi giving us a really good automotive selection.
Looking forward to the review and hopefully before long, the game.
Hmm… the only games thus far that I've been bothered to hunt down all the collectibles are GTA:VCS and inFamous. And those two had something in common: it was easy to see what you'd already collected/ needed to collect.
If there's one thing that I despise, it's needing to check out some silly little guide just to find some intensely obscue patch of map where the developers just so happen to have hidden something that really adds nothing to the game except increasing the difficulty of 100% completion.
That being said, I don't think that I'll bother to collect all of these, but rather whatever I happen to come across. Unless of course the game is even MORE engaging than I'm already convinced it is.
Peace.
might give it a try once ive finished t main story.
use to be a massive completionist, but ive lost interest, unless its story driven like ACs glyphs.
Ran around and found about 30 of the 95 vehicles in about an hour last night. I think it helped learn car control as well! You can really tell HP and tops speed difference in the cars…the only minor beef is that the I6 cars sound like V8s. Minor issue , but, for a car buff kills the realism that the car detail tried so hard to capture. OH and you cannot drive into pools! 😉
