Our poll two weeks ago found that the vast majority of Sony followers were willing to stick with the PlayStation Network, despite the recent downtime.
But what do those results matter if we have a readership that doesn't really utilize the Network's services all that often? Hence, the second poll: and as it turns out, the majority of gamers are on the Network at least 3 hours per week, and more than 1/3 say they spend over 15 hours – i.e., the brunt of their entertainment week – on the PSN. Therefore, it really does seem as if the fans stuck by Sony through all of this, and the traffic spike after the Network returned in the past 24 hours is even more proof of their loyalty. Of course, one could make the argument that because it's free, it's easy to stick around. Yeah, well, consumers were plenty ticked off but it seems cooler heads prevailed.
This week, it's back to full-on gaming, and just in time, too. One of the most anticipated titles of the year lands on Tuesday: Rockstar's L.A. Noire . We can't wait to get started; how about you? Have you been anxiously awaiting it's arrival? Are you on the fence? Waiting for reviews? Just don't care at all? Let us know.
