Yesterday, he commented that he did buy a 360 during the PSN outage, but that there was no way he'd sell his PS3 to do that.

I do, the best way to shop is to shop every where (that doesn't only go for gaming).
I've probably wouldn't recommend it, from what i've heard, if you've opened it, you bought it. By that, i mean that once it's opened, (the move controllers) it cannot be returned for full value.
If you don't believe me, call several gamestops and ask. For game purchases, you should seriously try gamefly. Just saying, go to the website.
Thats with games at any retailer. Except gamestop "guts" their games so they can let employee's play them and sell them as new and probably sell used games as new as well. (they tried selling me a "new" game and when I realized I wasn't getting it unopened I asked to see it and it was scratched. a blu ray… I immediately got a refund as I'd paid before knowing I'd get a "gutted" copy.
Unless the disc is unplayable with receipt and even then they just swap it for the same title no refunds. Controllers will definitely be returnable unless purchased used and then there is usually like a week long return time period.
Looks like I'm getting a Move.

My friend bought me the Move for my birthday in March. I went out and bought Sports champions for cheap and was very impressed with the tracking and gameplay. I just can't play those kinds of games very long. Sorcery is going to kick ass though and I can't wait for that.
I also bought the Nav controller although I'm not sure yet when I'm going to use it to play through Heavy Rain again with the Move controls. Still trying to finish/platinum The Saboteur.
Playstation Move has never interested me. I don't think it will ever.
I'm still waiting for the right time for a purchase for the Move. Some good games but I think I need a TV first, been borrowing like a 20" HDTV for my bedroom but we still have like a 27" with a huge box attached to it and you can barley read the channel number when it's displayed on the screen.
What I plan on doing is get like a 32 or so inch HD tv and in a couple of years buy a new 3D tv like 50" or better and put the 32 in the bedroom.
(waiting for 3D because price will drop a lot, quality and product will get better and we won't need them stupid glasses any more.)
Hey, What happens to all these people who got on the 3D wagon early and have to use glasses while the people who waited won't have to use glasses for 3D display?…
i actually enjoyed PMH, was not a good game by far but it was allot of fun!
weird, playing the same set of games for 12+ hours you would think you would get bored, but somehow i enjoyed it.
definitely best mini game compilation ive ever played!
Isn't the point of games to be "fun", hence making it a "good" game?
