The new Assassin's Creed is set for November and the highly anticipated game lands a huge feature in the next Game Informer.

Unsurprisingly, many of those details have already appeared on the Internet; a NeoGAF member has posted up all sorts of pertinent Revelations information from next month's GI. Here are a few of the highlights:

— Ezio is looking for seals in Revelations. These seals hold the memories of Alair. They'll allow Ezio to peek into Altair's life (just as Desmond uses Animus to peek into his ancestors lives).

— You'll control Altair through these sequences.

— The bulk of the game is set in Constantinople which will be split into 4 huge districts (Constantin, Beyazid, Imperial and Galata).

— Ezio has a new item called the hookblade which allows him to use ziplines throughout the city. UBI says that it speeds up navigation by about 30%.

— You can also use the hookblade to reach out and pull enemies in for a combo.

— Eagles vision has become eagle sense. "Eagle sense let's you focus on a character and see where he's been," Amancio says. "You'll get an approximation of where he will go. If you're able to detect the path a guard will take, you can run ahead, set a bomb, and create a trap or an ambush."

— The gameplay during Desmond's game is described as narrative-fueled puzzle sequences. "Through the manipulation and creation of geometry with the game world, Desmond seeks to reintegrate the splintered layers of his subconscious."

Also, make sure to read that breakdown of the Borgia Towers concept and how it will be expanded. Assassin's Dens sound wicked cool but personally, I really dislike the idea of losing control of conquered Dens when you gain notoriety. I just hate having to constantly babysit and retake territory, but at least if I install a master assassin at the Den, it'll be impervious to attack.

Oh, and I'm not sure how those random events will work in the city; they're included to up the immersion factor, but I can imagine them becoming a little problematic. For instance, we're running to get healed and something pops up we need to take care of…annoying, no? Ah, but even so, it's Assassin's Creed . I bet I'll love it.

Exactly what or whom are you defying by getting the game?

So, there will be time hopping, solving puzzles as Desmond in both Ezio and Altair's times, and you will be using what you gain to influence the Animus?

TOTALLY called it! (Reference my comments on the other AC:R page.). I could NOT be more excited about this game now!!!!!!

Not sure if I am a fan of this eagle sense. Sounds like it will make the game too easy. The hookblade sounds good though.

I'm sorry, I have difficulty seeing the zip line feature as little more than yet another twitch-gamer concession.

"Oh noes, it takes too long to get from here to there! I quit."

…the people who love AC love the unbelievable environment, which is a huge part of the experience and something that shouldn't go flashing by. Just my take on it. Sounds like an unnecessary speed addition.

ACII is on it's way to me by mail so all I can go by is the first game and I must say it was painfully boring to go anywhere on my horse. Just miles of crap and wasted time, hope that isn't in ACII.

@World
Its not so bad.
I quite like the horse thing. Got really anoyed when running on foot. Now thats a waste of time. I dont think the zip line feature is necessary. But who knows. They have never screwed up AC series.

Yeah, but since its useful for combat, I don't have a problem with it Ben. Plus, once you've seen the whole city by about 3/4 of the way through the game, you'll kinda want to go through it a bit quicker.

Coolness. So many games to keep me occupied over the summer at the end of the year (southern hemisphere).

I patiently await this, and money.

sounds really good!
hopefully this will be MUCH more story driven then ACB.
assassins creed had the best story ever put into a game!
2 was pretty good, not great, but not terrible.
bortherhood, well, let me sum up the WHOLE story!
you start at marios with the apple, the apple is taken so you spend the whole game building your army to be strong enough to take down the borgia and take back the apple.
you finally get the apple and take it to a safe hold.
the end!
wow, what a beautifully thought out detailed complex story!
my freaking 3 year old nephew could of thought of that!

You know, you failed to mention the modern day segments and how they tie into that supposedly childish story. That's what gives the plot much more complexity. Of course, knowing you, you probably didn't realize there were modern day segments in AC:B, just like you didn't think there were claustrophobic and tight environments in Dead Space 2 (yeah there were a lot of wide-open environments, but if you don't think those apartments, Ishimura, the hospital, and several other segments weren't claustrophobic then you're crazy).

so you play as everyone huh? ill pass ubisoft can pull the wool over your eyes but not mine, ill wait for assassins creed 3 or when this game is 20 bux. "lets milk our best franchise with spinoff after spinoff"

Lairfan

Hey, at least they're giving us improvements and changes with each of these AC spinoffs. Yeah, you may be saying to yourself that we're playing as 3 protagonists we've already played as, but if you read the full details you'll know that there's quite a few more new things to it than that.

Btw, since this is an annual franchise now, I wouldn't expect many more new things in a numbered installment of the series. Yeah sure, maybe a new main character and setting, but everything else will likely be very similar to the last couple games. In other words, you'll probably be saying that Ubi's pulling the wool over everyone's eyes when #3 does come out.

Ben, you didn't seem to hate the way RDR's random encounters played out, and I can't see this game's random encounters being too different from that. Yeah sure, it'll be annoying if they interrupt you from something you're focused on (like getting to a story mission or something), but it shouldn't be too bad.
