It's just so…so…what's the word?
Atlus has announced two things today: first, they're "generally considered the sexiest publisher around" (well, duh), and second, they've revealed the special "Love is Over" Edition for the their upcoming erotic thriller, Catherine . Developed by the award-winning Persona team, Catherine is actually a cinematic puzzle-based adventure that just so happens to feature some intense horror moments and a steamy love triangle. And so, Atlus has decided to send out a special package to true fans-
It'll come in a collectible pizza box from the Stray Sheep (the bar in the game), and includes "items directly from or inspired by other characters and game world." These items? Well…
Remember, the "Love is Over" Edition will be "built to pre-order demand" and won't be available in large quantities. So if you don't drop your deposit now, you'll suffer "bitter, bitter disappointment" later. By the way, Atlus also took the time to mention the Catherine Sound Disc & Art Book, which will be free to anyone who reserves either the standard or deluxe edition. It's a 36-page color art book "packed with the beautiful character designs of artist Shigenori Soejima." The CD has 11 tracks from composer Shoji Meguro.
Catherine will release on July 26 for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. And you can nab that "Love is Over" Edition for only $79.99, if you're so inclined.

Very awesome. I actually might just buy this now. 😀
Already reserved.
lol this is awsome.
That's pretty weird.
I'd like to have that t shirt, but I'll settle for the regular game.
Lol, I might have to get this, I thought this games was a PSN game… obviously not.
I would use the boxers when I play the game.
Wear or use?
wear*
lol, just curious what else ya'd use it for.
Strangest special edition yet.
If only Leisure Suit Larry had thought of this.
Bizarre, yet incredibly clever.
It's bound to get some attention. I just hope, for Atlus' sake, it's not negative or the wrong kind of attention.
I really do applaud developers who try something different and incredibly risky, always leaves a mark on the gaming industry, good or bad.
As a 30 year old guy, I think I'll stick with the standard edition if this game is worth buying.
hope they release this here, looks so quirky and weird!
nice to see something different for a change, instead your run of the mill shooter!
hmm i would get it for the shirt and pillow but idk. and a pizza box wtf LOL if its like 69 99 bucks then ok but if its over then 79 99 then nope just the game for me XD
