When we first saw the intriguing Child of Eden , Tetsuya Mizuguchi appeared to conduct an orchestra of light and sound with a white-gloved hand.
Obviously, he was demonstrating the Xbox 360 version of the game while on stage at E3 2010. Ever since then, most assumed it would come to the PlayStation 3 and utilize PlayStation Move, but there was some question as to when that version would arrive. Now, publisher Ubisoft has confirmed that Child of Eden for the PS3 is still in development for the PS3 and won't be ready until September. The 360 version launches on June 14 in the U.S. and if you have the 360 and Kinect, you might want to don a white glove and give it a try. You'll certainly look cool doing it. For our part, we can't wait to see how it works with Move, and in general, we just love the idea of a spiritual successor to Rez . Seriously, how many missed out on that Dreamcast gem? Too many, really.
