Last year. Battlefield: Bad Company 2 and Call of Duty: Black Ops launched at opposite ends of the year. In 2011, Battlefield 3 and the new CoD (expected to be Modern Warfare 3 , despite no official announcement) will likely clash in November. It's just one of those games that should be polished to within an inch of its life; "professionally produced" is a good description. We don't expect much in the way of hitches and glitches ( that'd be disappointing), but we do expect a defining shooter that can stand with the best of the best. Better than Killzone 3 ? Who knows? Maybe. Better than CoD? Perhaps. It'll be a very interesting fall, nonetheless.
