Ben-DutkaYeah, we know. You're annoyed because after Agent was revealed at E3 2009, the game just sort of disappeared.
We didn't hear about it at last year's E3 and this PlayStation 3 exclusive has remained under wraps for a very long time. But interestingly enough, there's a big rumor floating around now, which claims Sony will not only bring Agent to E3 2010, but it'll also show two minutes of pure "jaw-dropping" gameplay footage. Apparently, the tipster also said we'd get the first official details of the game, along with an estimated release date that falls into 2012. Right now, little is known about the promising game; the concept is great and could result in an innovative, engaging title. All we know is that it's being developed by Rockstar and features a "dark, undercover spy world" set in the late '70s. As soon as that information started to fly about nearly two years ago, both developer and publisher went mute on the subject. We wouldn't be surprised if the game was announced as a multiplatform title, either.
That tends to happen. The longer we wait for an unveiling, the less likely the project will retain its exclusivity…or so it seems. Remember Quantum Theory ? It turned out badly, but that was initially a PS3 exclusive, too. And of course, there's FFXIII…

It's widely known now that R* owe Sony an exclusive and this is it.
Also, R* have already commented on why it's exclusive stating that it's the brilliant support Sony gives new lP's and they said they want to begin a new franchise on one console so that it gets it's full potential…and they reckon Sony are the most rewarding.
That GTA4 dlc was offered Sony 1st, Sony refused. Agent enters.
Agent won't be going Multi.
Hope the rumour is true, anyway.

Rockstar offered Sony the DLC 1st but Sony refused? How accurate is this? Can you give me a little more info on that please?

I do not think rockstar will go against their word on this game. I cannot wait to play a rockstar game that fully utilizies the ps3! From what I've read on the internet its going to be similar to gta but with multiple cities? Here's hoping they use full 50 gigs and remains exclusive! ^^
I am looking forward to this title due to it's exclusivity alone.
A big time studio working on the PS3 only should mean loads of quality.

I'm still doing the same, even keep putting 2009 down on things!
What most excites me about 'Agent' is that it is actually Rockstar North (the developer responsible for anything good one could say about the 'Grand Theft Auto' series) developing the game, and exclusively for the PlayStation 3.
I hope it's simply great more than anything else, but I'm actually keeping my fingers crossed that it isn't anything like 'Grand Theft Auto.' I'd love to see Rockstar North branch out beyond what is expected of them from rabid 'GTA' fans.
Isn't this game suppose to be similar to L.A. Noire?

Actually even LA Noire was exclusive to ps3 but went multiplatform years ago but it won't happen with this game!

I have high hopes for this due to it's current exclusive status. Also if the "jaw-dropping " game-play footage is in fact that, then I'll really be excited.
However if I hear anything about, "but we had to remove stuff because we're taking it multiplatform," then I'll be ready to go covert agent on 2k and Rockstar.
That just increased my anticipation for E3. I've been waiting for info on AGENT for years now, and if it's about to start trickling, I'm ready. I'll be irritated if this does go multiplatform, as it means that a lot will probably be cut, but the premise of the game is enough to keep me interested.
Does anyone know how much room iF/iF2 takes up on a Blu-ray disc, just as a point of reference? Oh, and at least we now know that we've got at least two 2012 exclusives (is S-E isn't lying).

It's about time we hear some news about this game, a game I've been excited about since it was announced. I hear the same studio behind GTA, led by the talented Houser BROS., is developing this game. I can't wait to see what these guys can whip up using the full capabilities of the PS3.
About facking time we see what they've been up to since RDR released. The fanboy in me wants this game to set the internet drooling over yet another superior PS3 exclusive. The gamer in me just wants to see it!

the painful memories of square, and hideo appearing on ms stage make me fear for any ps3 exclusive.

This has me pumped, there should be no excuse for this title to flop, they have the whole of the ps3's capabilities and no limitations. I await for more on this.

yeah, me too. i hope they are using a different engine. r* games have always taken a resolution hit on the ps3 compared to the 360. i don't like that.

I want this game so badly. I really don't want Agent to be the next Duke Nukem Forever. I would like to play it on the PS3, not the PS6.

R* owe sony 2 exclusives, one was suppose to be LA Noire but that did not last so this will be the first.
hopefully they show heaps of details at E3, but i doubt there will be too much because they dont want it taking the limelight away from max payne 3.
thats suppose to be getting a massive showoff, finally blow the lid on the game and hopefully give us a release date!
