Those who had been following the 13-year saga of Duke Nukem Forever were on the verge of a heart attack when Gearbox Software announced an actual release date for "Did Not Finish:" May 3. We had seen dates before, but none so darn close, and none that came along with trailers and media and interviews. So we all assumed that this was it…ah, but you know what happens when we assume. Here's Gearbox boss Randy Pitchford:
Well, at least they're having fun with it. So now the new day is June 14 in North America and internationally on June 10. We can live with that. In all actuality, if Gearbox wanted to keep teasing us for years to come, we wouldn't be too surprised. For a while there, we were convinced DNF was the longest-running gag in industry history.

I think i must buy Infamous 2 first and i should wait for Duke Nukem another month.Damn it!

Now that's funny, good thing is that there won't be any backlash for delaying this game.
lol delays are the last concern people have about this game. It's coming, and that's all that matters.

Say, you don't think that they did this on purpose to..you know…take advantage of all teh free publicity of being the famous DNF game that wasn't and is, and is now delayed…Ironic.
I wondered that as well, especially since it is such a short delay. Usually when we hear of a game being delayed it's several months.
not really, most games get delayed a few weeks.

or motorstorm appocalypse, was suppose to release in the UK on the 18th of march if i remember right but now its set for the 31st of march.
they better give us the demo soon, and a long a$$ demo at that to tide us over!

Watched the trailer on PSN. Shows "him" urinating. And when I say it shows "him" I mean it shows his junk. Of course it was censored in the trailer but I can only assume it won't be in the final game. Won't be getting this. If I wanted to see man junk I would go watch Forgetting Sarah Marshall again.

That was pretty funny, but a bad move. It was a likely D1P, but I'll be playing inFamous 2 until my teeth fall out so Duke will have to wait until after that now. That move's gonna hurt sales.
I wouldn't say that it's so much as a bad move you have to keep in mind it is a multi-platform game so it's not like people won't buy it for the other systems… it is after all a FPS with multiplayer. It might not sell all that well on the PS3 side but whose to say the game won't generate allot of sales on the 360 side & PC.

I doubt it'll generate a lot of mp sales due to the fact that it's only 4 vs 4. Most fps fans I know aren't looking for less men on the battlefield.
Yeah I know it can still sell well across platforms, but the gamers who grew up on Duke or more or less a bigger part of the PS3 fanbase where the Xbox kids are young. It just means more gamers busy with inFamous 2 will opt to get Duke used so less money to Gearbox.
Probably not enough to make them cry, but a release should squeeze all it can out of the market.
I still think it might do better than we expect it to it could happen you know… I'm just saying.

Balls of Steel edition for me, all the way. Infamous 2 can wait. Duke 3d I still play regularly.
Yea..not a smart move knowing inFamous 2 is dropping the same month…literally days before it…Oh well..seems like I won't get to Duke until next year..B/c after L.A. Noire there's inFamous 2..plus I'll still have Mortal Kombat..enough games to keep me satisfied until Resistance 3 and Uncharted 3

meh, I've waited this long. What's another month. Funny add though. DNF isn't gonna be a day one purchase for me anyway. It's a definite purchase, but not a day one. Especially if it's coming out along side Infamous 2.

OMFG Just cancel the game. I don't even want it now. (Not really) But this announcement did just put a bitter taste in my mouth.
I can wait till then im buying this and Infamous 2. Just means waiting longer for Duke is all.
I liked their humour, it actually makes me want to buy this game a little bit more now.
I never played the original, but remember my father playing it when I was really young.
I will keep my eyes open for Duke now 🙂
