It's a reboot and a rebirth, and the fans are hoping it's everything they expect it to be.
Mortal Kombat will launch on April 21 for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 but developer NetherRealm Studios and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment wants to give you an early peek at the action…and they're giving the nod to PS3 owners. It was announced today that a playable MK demo will be available exclusively to PlayStation Plus members on March 8; everyone else will be able to snag it a week later on the PSN. The demo will come to Xbox Live "later." This little taste will give you access to the standard arcade ladder for one or two players, and let you try out Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Johnny Cage and Mileena in either the Living Forest or The Pit. That ought to be plenty; we all know how long it can take to get used to our selected fighter, especially if we're playing a game we've sorta forgotten over the years.
Yeah, the game is banned in Australia but then again, nobody is surprised to see that. The next GTA probably won't make it there, either.
