You can't have a shooter without multiplayer, and you can't have multiplayer without DLC. It's like a new rule in gaming.
Epic Games and People Can Fly have delivered the rude, crude, and yet exceedingly entertaining Bulletstorm this week, and they have now announced the first batch of downloadable content . The elegantly titled "Gun Sonata" will feature three new maps for the game's Anarchy multiplayer mode. We've got the nasty sewers of Stygia, the crumbling Hotel Elysium, and the wide open Villa. We'll also get a couple new environments for the score-attack Echo Mode; Crash Site and Guns of Stygia. Oh, and if you're all into the "killing with skill" philosophy, you'll be happy to know you'll have two new Leash upgrades with this package: the Flamingo and the Pulp. God only knows what these will do but you have to use your imagination…the developers used all sorts of imagination when thinking up the many ways to die in Bulletstorm .
Gun Sonata will hit the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live service later this spring; it'll cost $9.99 on the PSN and 800 Microsoft Points on Live. For the record, you will see our review tonight.
