Remember how Criterion continued to support Burnout Paradise ? That game might've had the best DLC support ever .

Well, don't think they'll ignore Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit . Three new content packs have been revealed for the popular racer; the first will release next week on February 22, the second will release on March 1, and the third a week after that. The first will add new multiplayer modes – Most Wanted and Arms Race – while the latter two will give us hot new Lamborghinis and Porsches. Here's the announcement trailer for all the packs:

Armed and Dangerous brings us those aforementioned modes; Most Wanted is an "open-world battle where the cops are out to bust a specific racer." Other racers must work to protect that targeted would-be victim, so this mode requires some teamwork. But in Arms Race, it's just the opposite; it's every man for himself as racers "use their full arsenal of weaponry on each other in ruthless races to the finish."

The second pack is Lamborghini Untamed (guess what that features) and the third is Porsche Unleashed. You're still racing, aren't you?

It's a shame this game came out when it did. I still have yet to try it, and with GT5 occupying my time, and Killzone 3 out in a few days, I don't know when that will happen. It looks awesome though!

Same here. I really wanted to play this game, but I still have my GT5. Not till GT5 gets old, I won't get a new racing game. By then Hot Pursuit will probably be $19.99 and no one playing online anymore. Hot Pursuit 2 probably comes out too.

I haven't played HP in a while, but definitely liking the looks of these packs. The open world chases is something that should have been in the game from day one. That was something I liked about Burnout. There was a start line and a finish line…how you got there was up to you.

This is ridiculous, I'm all for support with patches and DLC after the release of a game but each of the three packs costs £5.50, may not sound like much but to be quite honest – it's far too much for a few awesome cars and new races.

I love the game and love Criterion too, it's just a shame they have the price so high and the game came out just over 3 months ago.

Don't really care for the extra cars but looking forward to the Armed and Dangerous pack, anything to expand the multi-player experience.

when you add wheel support and a fix to the controller lag then will talk.
when i ask my cars to turn i expect them to turn!
not write a letter to the front wheels and be put on a waiting list!
the term lounge on wheels comes to mind………….
