If you hadn't noticed, that Back to the Future downloadable game received a fair amount of critical acclaim when it released for the PC late last year.
Now, PlayStation 3 owners in North America can expect the first Episode of Back to the Future: The Game to arrive on February 15. Appropriately entitled, "It's About Time," we are re-introduced to two classic characters in movie history: Marty and Doc. Christopher Lloyd has given his recognizable voice to the game as he becomes a virtual Doc, and the storyline was created in collaboration with "Back to the Future" trilogy co-writer/co-producer Bob Gale. This will be the first of five total Episodes; they're scheduled to release each month and they should feature "incredible story twists, turns and cliffhangers!" For $19.99, you get all the episodes , which will be delivered when they become available, and that ain't too shabby. Don't you prefer a one-time fee?
Playing as Marty McFly, we will receive "an experience true to the films," and based on what we've seen and heard so far, this should be well worth the investment. When you pay your $20, you will receive the first Episode immediately, and then you just have to wait to get the other Episodes in following months. You know, kinda like a short magazine subscription. At any rate, we will most certainly look into this one; expect a review.
