Believe it or not, there's another inventive for purchasing Dead Space 2 next week.

If you want to have access to the Ser Isaac of Clarke armor in the upcoming Dragon Age II , you had best spring on Visceral's horrifying sequel next week. Early copies of DS2 will include a code to unlock said armor and it appears to be a medieval, fantastical version of Isaac's futuristic sci-fi armor in Dead Space 2 . And you know, it's quite the effective piece of equipment: it features rune slots and requires a high dexterity and cunning to wear. It also adds bonuses to armor and critical damage, so you might just have to snag this armor; it's gonna help in your ongoing battle against the nasties of the wild. It's a whole suit of equipment that only the more advanced warriors can equip, and we'll be looking forward to trying it out. While DS2 and DA2 are both very different games and very different experiences, both are guaranteed to be fantastic in their own ways, and lovers of great games ought to be interested in both.

Maybe we'll see more of this in the future. It sort of gives people excuses to drop more cash but hey, that's business.

Hmmm… I'll post the code in the forums as soon as I get the game. I don't really plan on getting DA2… I'm sure there are a few people here who would be interested in the suit.

A medieval fantastical version huh? Sounds great. I think a screenshot would be a clincher for the buy.

Ugh now i have to buy dead space 2 and two worlds two on tuesday! I guess thats great but a lot of money. Reason why is the blood dragon armor was some of the better stuff in dragon age, i expect this to be the same case. So consider myself sold on this.

Dragon Age is going to be my next game purchase. I loved ME2 so much I'm ready to take on a fantasy setting.

BTW, I went ahead and finished the game last night and whipped up a user review. It should get posted sometime soon ūüėČ

FYI: I played the ending 4+ times to see different outcomes. Amazing game.

The different ME2 endings come down to one end choice? Or what's the deal?

***SPOILER ALERT***
No, the ending culminates into an all out team assault on the final base. You command your entire team and break them off into squads and diversions. You'll be faced with a number of decisions where even one poor decision can result in a team member dieing or multiple team members dieing… like, dead-dead.. for good. The very last decision is also significant. On my first few attempts one member would die–not always the same one. But on my last attempt, we all survived =)

Samara as biotic team shield was key (Jack just talked big). Jacob as backup at the gate, would take a hit, like Garrus, but still survive. I couldn't save Legion, though ūüôĀ Legion, I'll miss you (all), I think! You didn't even get a coffin (not sure if you needed one, as you are/were many)! You were my favorite character(s), but perhaps you (all) continue to exist!

**** SPOILER ALERT****
Master Shams, I didn't have any problems with Legion, but I kept having problems with Mordin. The only way I could keep him alive was by having him lead the crew of survivors back to the Normandy. And yes, Samara was critical in keeping at least one member alive on the biotic shield team. She was initially my first pick. I did swap and try Miranda but she didn't have the endurance to use that final biotic wave at the gate–resulting in the death of Garrus, whereas, Samara did. I then had problems with Tali.. she did great running solo but would end up dieing at the final conflict. I kept her alive by teaming her, and Jacob up with me on the final assault.
I love the game. What makes that sequence so interesting is that you really have to think smart about who you choose despite other team members trying to offer you advice. Like Miranda tried suggesting she should lead the team with the biotic shield… but I KNEW Samara was a more powerful biotic so I picked her instead. Whereas I saw the result of what happens if I would've took Miranda's advice..
anyway, good stuff. I've never encountered a game like this.

*** Possible Spoilers ***

I used Jak as my biotic shield and she was great. The only issues I had in the section was the heat vents was getting there in time to make sure Tali didn't die. I forgot who my various teams were (it's been a while since I finished it) but I made it through with everyone surviving. If a teammate is loyal to you, (s)he has a much better chance at surviving the ordeal.

Oh man, I'd love to have that but I won't have time to play DS2 for a while so I won't be buying first day. I hope DS2 has something akin to the free Obsidian suit though, the default suit in DS1 is so ugly compared to that.

I was just wishing that about an hour ago. I love the Obsidian and Scorpion suits, and rarely played the game without them. More so the Obsidian. Although, I played a lot with the Stormtrooper-esque military suit, too.

Well they'll probably make available later via download for purchase like they do with everything else, so I'm not too worried. Horror isn't really my thing and I'm not going to buy a game for $60 just to get a piece of armor for another game.

I think this is pretty kool. I wish I could get DS2 but I won't have much time to play it nor will I be able to play DA2 when it comes out.

PS: Now that I think about it since they are doing this I wonder if they would do a Dead Space Mass Effect thing.

I am getting DS2 for my PS3 and DA2 on my PC. Will the code on the PS3 copy of DS2 work for a PC version of Dragon Age?

It would be good if it did but I doubt they would be that generous.

I am doing the same. I sure hope the code works for PC!

Doubtful. The code you get is likely a redeem code for the Playstation store.

If not, I'm gona sell the code to a friend of mine who loves bioware and does not play DS.

Went and bought the game today sos I can pick it up on Tuesday without any worries. EA's giving a lot of stuff away for this game, and others it seems. I got Dead Space: Ignition for free, I'm getting some kinda gun free from GameStop (bleh; it was the closest place, heh), I'm getting a free costume for playing Ignition, another gun for having a DS save file, who knows what else, and now a free costume for Dragon Age II.

That's pretty cool stuff. I'm a nerd for this (and a lot of other) kinda stuff.

not a bad idea, but no one really needs any more reasons to buy this.
soooooooooooooo cant wait to play this!
just cant decide if i should start 2 first, or extraction.
its a shame they did not release extraction on the PSN earlier, would of made it so much easier if they released it early in the month or late last year.
now i have to finish DS2, DSE ME2,TDU2 and mindjack before bulletstorm comes out.
O, not to mention LBP2.
actually, i probably wont bother with that.
played it for 3 hours last night, and to be honest i have never been so bored in my entire life!
watching Oprah is more entertaining!!!!!!
only award that should be winning is most repetitive game of the century!

wait….if you hate the game (lbp2) so much going by all of ur repetitive post…why waste time on it? Unless you're reviewing a game, i don't know too many gamers who play something for 3 hours straight if they aren't having any kind of fun during those 3 hours unless its some kind of rpg which this game isn't.

im trying to finish it because i have this obsession of finishing things, i cant start something and not finish it.
plus, i have this nagging hope that, maybe, it will change.
o, and no i dont have a money tree out back, wish i did!
i just make good use of EBs 7 day return policy.

How much crap are they giving out with Dead Space 2? Seriously, with the Collector's Edition not only am I getting a replica Plasma Cutter, an artbook, the soundtrack, Dead Space: Extraction, Dead Space Ignition for free, the original Plasma Cutter for having a Dead Space 1 save, the Rivet Gun for preordering at Gamestop (its the closest gaming store in town, don't judge me!), a Unitology suit and Unitology Force Gun, but now they're also giving out this suit for Dragon Age 2! Hell of a lot of value for $80.
