The original was great fun and we're expecting nothing less than from the sequel.
Although you'll see Nathan "Rad" Spencer in Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds on February 15, the powerful hero with that robotic arm we all love will swing into action a few weeks earlier. Today, Capcom has revealed that Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 will land on the PlayStation Network on February 1 and on Xbox Live a day later. It'll hold a price tag of $15 or 1,200 Microsoft points and if it's anything like the first title , we should all be in for a very big treat. Originally, Bionic Commando captured the '80s gaming crowd with its initial Nintendo installment and many years later, it has resurfaced for the current generation. The 3D re-imaging for the PS3 didn't wow the crowd but the simpler, old-school side-scrolling theme still works extremely well. Although we expect several top-notch downloadable games to hit in 2011, Rearmed 2 should be one of the very first must-haves.
Somehow, it makes us think that some franchises were always destined to remain in a certain format, regardless of technology and advancements.

Yeah, that 3D re-imagining was brutal. Collectibles without level select? That's just wrong Capcom.
I actually liked, or maybe the fact that I only paid $7 for it convinced me enough to like it.
SWEET!

2D side scrolling platformers are not dead after all.
just lying there with a gaping hole in there chest, slowly bleeding to death.
