After complaining about all the red tape surrounding Xbox Live, developer Blueside has confirmed that a PlayStation 3 version of Kingdom Under Fire II is on the way.
Why? Well, because the PS3 "offers many possibilities considering the aspects of an MMORPG that requires continuous updates," so said Blueside CEO Sejung Kim. Currently scheduled for a 2012 release, the designer isn't sure a 360 version will even exist; they only list the PC and PS3 versions for now. At this point in time, Blueside says they're "under discussion with Microsoft, and nothing has been confirmed." PS3 owners will receive exclusive characters and missions although we're not sure about the billing model just yet, and as so many studios have promised in the past, Blueside says they want to "tailor the engine to maximize PS3 use." Yes, well, we've heard that before; the team only needs to come through on their promise. Provided everything turns out well, this is one game that should appeal to hardcore MMOers everywhere; that medieval atmosphere has always been appealing to many. We just hope the PS3 version ends up being everything it could be…
We'll let you know when they decide to release more information about Kingdom Under Fire II .

Never even heard of the first one, but I hope the MMO fans get out of this what they won't out of FFXIV.
Their comments about what the PS3 offers are quite interesting. If they were only talking about a hard drive then why wouldn't this be plausible on the 360? There's gotta be something deeper there…
Processor? Blu Ray?
Restrictive policies with Microsoft's online service would be my guess.
Game looks good, great to see a ps3 version.
Also, they better deliver on their promise to make a great ps3 version. I want to see a medieval based character from Sony in this game.
You know it! Sir Daniel Fortesque! From MediEvil!

I read about a "Kingdom Under Fire 2" RTS game as an xbox 360 exclusive two years ago. Is this the same game or something different?
Another game which I've never heard of, damn I should be more alert…………
Watched a trailer for this and it's even got boob physics LOL. At least in the cutscenes. I've never played an MMORPG before, but this one looks cool. Well, it looks exactly like every other medieval game, but whatever. Have to see if it turns out to be good, maybe I'll give it a try.
Yer, that made me want the game no problem, lol.
But actually it does look pretty awsome, if it plays that smoothly all the time
