Ben-DutkaIf you're looking for a darker, more frightening experience with PlayStation Move, look no further than the Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition .
Capcom Europe has told Eurogamer – as summarized at GamerZines – that they're "surprised" at the success of the Gold Edition , which is compatible with Move. In fact, they say it's "the best Move game out there," which may or may not be true, depending on your point of view. Capcom's David Reeves says much of the current Move lineup is sort of "partyish" but the new edition of RE5 offers gamers a little something different. Said Reeves:
"Resident Evil 5 Gold Edition we put out as Move compatible, and it's really surprised us," said Revees. "The number of orders our sales manager keeps bringing to us every day… 'David, we've got more for Resident Evil 5!'
When you look at the line-up for Move it's a bit partyish; Resi Evil Gold is the best Move game out there and it's doing very well, it's a remarkable growth curve."
Move functionality was added to RE5 via patch just before Move hit the market in mid-September, so if you've already got the game, you can give the new motion controls a try. Of course, fans of the series are sort of split on the quality of the game in question, but we're not about to open up that can of worms. Let's just say that if you want a cool Move experience that is more mature, give this a try.

first and only game that i ever got a platinum for.
From what I've been seeing, it certainly looks great, this and Heavy Rain looks awesome with Move.

I think Tumble is the best Move game out there. Heavy Rain could be head-to-head with RE5 Gold but I haven't played Heavy Rain yet.
Agree with godsman, Tumble is the best Move game out there, and in my opinion, is right up there with the best PSN games ever.
Heavy Rain for Move…well…it was a hit and miss for me really – it controls didn't seem natural at all.
Haven't tried Resident Evil yet.
I'll open that can of worms, good game, terrible RE. Mine isn't Gold so I can't try Move (when I get it) but I wouldn't wanna. Wonderful multiplat graphics, but the lack of anything horror and the sad attempt to combine action with tank controls just didn't work.
Only two scary parts were:
-Your partner has to hold the flashlight while you shoot in a dark tunnel
-You walking pass the a tunnel full of blind monsters quietly.
I was also disappointed with he overall lackluster feel of horror implemented in the game. It was a good game like world said, just a poor RE game.

you could not control the camera with the move controller, it was nigh on impossible to turn around, having to hold down the move button AND the trigger was a pain in the A$$!

……. and i thought they could not make RE5 any worse, wow what a accomplishment crapcom deserve a medal for somehow making RE5 worse than it originally was!
It had the same exact control as the Resident Evil 4 Wii edition, and THAT game was highly praised for it's control system.
If you played FPS then played RE5, you'll complain, but for a Resident Evil game, it was an improvement in controls already.
you cant control the camera while aiming, how is that a control improvement?
RE5 has the WORST implementation of move, ok maybe not worst razing storm is worse but besides that i cant think of anything thats worse.
heavy rain and sports champions so far are the best, especially heavy rain it implements it in such a unique way makes it feel natural.

It may be one of the best Move games, which isn't saying much in my opinion, but it's also one of the worst in the RE series.

its true RE5 and heavy rain are the only good move titles out there oh and MAG is a desent move game aswell
I for the life of me could not get the controls under control in MAG. I just couldn't aim or keep the cursor in the middle of the screen.
Well, if it's anything like Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition i would be inclined to agree. But since i dislike Resident Evil 5 I going to disagree and say Heavy Rain is the best Move game out there.
I just wanted to throw out there that RE5 may be the best move game in terms of sales. that doesnt really mean its the best move game out there. Im not saying its poor but I mean i pre ordered and got my copy for £9.99 retail which is about $16. Im not saying it should have been sold for £40 but the first uncharted platinum is still sold at about £20.
You can understand why it has sold so well as the move is new, innovative technology and people want good software for it. You're not gonna think twice about paying £15 for a brand new (condition) game with all the dlc and thats move compatible.

The fight: lights out is the best move game so far for me. Good graphics and a great implementation of the motion controlls. It wears you out, too, unlike the wii boxing game.
nope. heavy rain is an infinitly better game

I might trade in Dead Rising 2 or Black Ops for RE5 Gold just to try out the Move controller. I've been looking for a solid Move title.
Thank you, Crapcom. Got this game at launch, bought the two extra episodes, and now I have to buy the whole game again if I want to play with Move.
