Yes, Call of Duty: Black Ops arrives next week on November 9. But we all need contrast in our gaming, don't we? How about downloading what amounts to the exact opposite after picking up the new CoD?
Rockin' Android has announced a new title for the PlayStation Network. It's called Crescent Pale Mist and it's a flashy, slick side-scrolling action game by Japanese developer, ClassiC Shikoukairo. Basically, you're looking at what they're calling a "hardcore 2.5D action/platformer that will scratch your nostalgia itch" (well, what PSN title doesn't these days?) by combining intense, fast-paced platforming with rapid-fire combat. You play as the sorceress Yunou, "the only magician capable of wielding powerful and deadly magic known as Pale Mist." The setting is Gasyukal, a stunning alternate dimension between worlds. But Toxic Pale Mist is leaking into the outside world and Yunou must stop those responsible (people she used to call friends…?). You will have access to your handy blades and lethal spells but make sure to look before you leap, as you don't know what lurks just ahead. Can you handle the onslaught?
If the video – seen through the link above – looks interesting, you can nab Crescent Pale Mist on November 9 for $5.99.
