Well, we don't blame the readers one bit. And in fact, we agree.
While the huge Grand Theft Auto following gave it a run for its money, Naughty Dog's Uncharted 3 won out as the most wanted PS3 title. It's not hard to understand how the upcoming third installment in the franchise – which hasn't been officially unveiled, but is most certainly in development – beat out both Grand Theft Auto V and Final Fantasy Versus XIII . It's obvious: Uncharted 2: Among Thieves was one of the most memorable video game experiences in history, and is widely considered to be the best title of the generation thus far. It's interesting, though…although the original Drake's Fortune was excellent, would you have predicted that Uncharted 3 would outstrip the industry's biggest names in a "most wanted" competition? It's just incredible what Naughty Dog has managed to do, and we all wait with bated breath for the unveiling of the third iteration. It's going to be one hell of a production.
Now, we turn our attention to potential Game of the Year candidates. We're in November now and there are only a few titles left that have a chance of being GotY. Now, our question isn't what you think should win the illustrious award, but which title do you think will win here at PSXE…? We might be leaning in a surprising direction… So what say you?
