We've been hearing that Grasshopper's Wii-exclusive No More Heroes might eventually come to the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in a fresh high-definition format, but there was nothing concrete…until now.
Well, at least as far as PS3 owners are concerned, the rumors were true: it has been confirmed that the Suda 51-developed, critically acclaimed game, No More Heroes: Heroes' Paradise , will release next year in North America for Sony's console. If you're not familiar, this is a game with super-stylized violence and the protagonist, Travis Touchdown, must rise through the ranks of the assassin's guild by taking out his competition. But of course, you can't have a bloody adventure with a bad-ass, uber-cool hero if there's no love interest; Travis hopes his feats of brutality will win him the heart of his unknown yet gorgeous benefactor. One utilized the motion-sensing controls on the Wii to play, so it shouldn't surprise you to learn the PS3 version will utilize the PlayStation Move. The developers will also toss in more bosses, enhanced AI, and an all-new Rebout mode, where players can battle previously defeated foes.
We'll let you know when they nail down a finalized launch date. This seems like a great addition to the growing Move library!

Sounds like fun, has anybody played this on Wii?
What is this, World gets to post 1st on every article Day?
Ben doesn't know it but I have attached a psychic link to his brain through his PSN screen name and I get instant alerts about when he posts, provided my tinfoil helmet is off.
Bah. I update at the same time every day. Can't be TOO hard to figure out. 😉
I have, the only other thing not noted on here is that the 360 version got canceled(Excluding Japan since it's already released, but the Jap folks don't have Move Support! Woot) so, PS3 is the only console to be getting the game in North America and Europe(I think as well) to be getting the game.
Is Move mandatory or can you play it with Dualshock3 only?
I'm wondering about this too. I'm not into the whole motion sensing thing, which is why I barely touch my Wii. I prefer having the controller in my hand, without having to flail my arms around to feel immersed.
This game is all about kicking ass with swords lol. It would be boring with a DS3.
Cool beans!
I heard this game was great from a number of people. I never bothered to pick it up though.
I'm guessing it takes some sort of quickness and or accuracy so no wonder Kinect gets no announcement.
LOL! I think MS is banking on stupid people buying that thing because i really can't see how its going to be successful from a hardcore gaming standpoint.
I can see it now: MS selling "reality augmentation devices" which is in effect tangible controllers to compensate for their lack of foresight that games DO need controllers.
I played the first game on Wii. If the humor is your thing then you could probably enjoy it. The action itself consisted of flailing the wii-mote around and the occasional quick time event. In between blood showers there were some silly side missions necessary for advancement (both character and game). None of them were really fun. My time with the game left me unsatisfied. It was shallow, repetitive, and (for me) utterly lame.

That's too bad, perhaps with the update the preciseness of the Move will add something to it as people seem to all agree you can't just flail the thing about.
World, were you beaten with an ugly stick?
From one Dante to another… I like it. At least I think that's the new Dante…
Good, the Wii games of No More Heroes were awesome. Liking the word "exclusive." Kinect can't handle this!
I think well start to see more Wii ports coming to PS3 while the 360 is left out in the cold.
I'm sorry. Maybe I missed it, but I don't recall seeing the word "exclusive" for the PS3 here.
BTW, this already released on the PS3/360 in Japan without motion controls.
Sorry. I just read over at GameSpot where they claim this is a PS3 exclusive here in the U.S.
This clown should have thought about this earlier. I'm not buying a Wii port. Worse than a 360 port if you ask me.
sounds more like an overhaul than a straight port at least.
By far my favorite game on the Wii and one of my favorite series period (No More Heroes). When I read this announcement it was great news to me.
New bosses, extra goodies, Move compatibility, PS3 exclusive. Yes! Now bring us the sequel in Desperate Struggle to the PS3 and we'll be more than just good.
I seem to reading reviews about both the No More Heroes games that blasted them into oblivion for being repetitive, boring, poorly paced and poorly thought out. Yeah, even if I do end up getting a PSMove, I don't foresee myself picking this up unless it really manages some spectacular scores. And how long did everyone think it was going to take before we started to get Wii ports?
Peace.
I seem to remember reading reviews… My grammar is terrible today.
Great news, one of the few wii games i wanted to play, funniest thing i have seen from this game how you save your progress.
miss.
played the atrocity they call desperate struggle.
well a very appropriate name because playing it sure was a desperate struggle!
i can see why GG gave it a 5!
I will get this one since move does need some more hardcore love! I think it is a love or hate title.
Now, would you kindly develop a Killer7 HD remake, Suda-san?(Boshock rules!!!:off topic)
It was cancelled for 360 last time i checked. i was about to break down and get the wii version, glad to see it's finally coming over.
BTW, this already released on the PS3/360 in Japan without motion controls.
This game is awesome.
