We've said it from the beginning: if there's one game that might really benefit from Sony's new motion sensing technology, it's Quantic Dream's masterful Heavy Rain .
And now, if you plan on revisiting one of the best games of the generation, we have a date for you- as announced at the PlayStation Blog , the Move Edition of Heavy Rain will be available on September 22. If you already have the game – and you damn well should, if you're an ardent gamer and PlayStation 3 owner – they'll release a Move-enabling patch that same day (September 22), so all you'll have to do is boot up the game and download the patch. It's entirely free and will let you play the game with your fancy new Move peripheral. But that's not all- a demo of the Move Edition will be on the PlayStation Store the following week – Tuesday, September 28 – and that is also free, so if you would rather sample it before springing for the full title, go right ahead. As one of the best examples of progressive, forward-thinking in this industry, Heavy Rain is all about the atmosphere and overall immersion.
That being the case, doesn't it stand to reason that one could become more absorbed with the help of Move? We certainly hope so.

ugh i was going to wait to get the move, now i'm forced to get it this week. i have to experince this game with the move. masterpiece
Well I need to check more endings anyway. Move is a good reason to play it again. Among other reasons of course.
I'll grab the patch asap, but am still gonna wait a bit on Move itself. I do hope HR for move gets more people to experience the game though.
I'm not sure gynecology and the Move are a good mix but I guess I should try it before passing judgment.
If that is your profession I understand why you are grumpy.
I'm convinced that "mad doctor" is actually a gynecologist. You see the equipment he sports in his basement?
I get the feeling he dabbles in many areas of interest.
Hope playing HR with Move doesn't become a strange experience during the club and motel scenes.
lol lol that will be interesting to see.
I think it will better if it actually *is* awkward, as that was how it was meant to feel.
I never played heavy rain exept tthe demo… Is there always one killer in the end or it all depends? PleAse no spoilers hehe
I'll just say whomever is responsible for the murders remains the same, but what happens to the characters at the end is based on your decisions in the game.
There is always a killer, is up to you to find out who he/she is and depends in the actions you do and decisions you take if the killer walks free or not

the killer stays the same. theyre' are just lots of different endings. you need to play in asap. what have you benn waiting on?
the butler did it
Just in case you took that seriously…there's no butler. lol
It actually was the Colonel in the kitchen with a revolver.
I pre-ordered my Move Starter Kit Bundle yesterday and I'm looking forward to the Heavy Rain update. Can't wait to play through Heavy Rain from the beginning; this time with the Move.
cool i am getting heavy rain tomorrow as of now anyways just can't make up my mind
I read that the Move version will have 45 minutes of extra cut scenes. But no indication if it's downloadable with the Move patch.
They are 9 'making of' videos and not game scenes. I misunderstood, my apologies.
Man i need to get heavy rain, have been waitin for the price to drop but i'll probably get it now. on a side note anyone seen http://www.yaybuttons.com/
Class!
I'm ready for this patch. Too bad it won't be released this Friday. Five days should be enough time to get use to Move before playing Heavy Rain with it.

I'm hoping to pick up the 320 gig bundle soon, and 'Heavy Rain' will definitely be the measuring stick I use for Move's potential success or lack thereof.
A small part of me is still hoping that they'll make the cancelled DLC ,now that the Move version is done… Wishfull thinking, I know..
Maybe not. If they get a lot of newcomers they make make the DLC. That is one DLC that I will buy.
Outstanding. My wife and I can't wait for the patch!!
Downloading the patch for Heavy Rain and buying Move on Sep 22nd!
Sweet can't wait, this coming week is going to be awesome, 1) new ps3 for me, 2) move for me and the family 3) downloading patch and playing heavy rain 🙂 thank goodness for vacation 🙂
Hmm… I thought it wasn't going to be out until December-ways. If I were intending to get a Move anytime soon, I would definitely wait to see some reviews and whatnot of this before picking it up. Unfortunately, the room in which I play games isn't really conducive to motion controls. Too small, ya see? Anyway, good to know for those who are interesting in being early adopters.
Peace.
sigh.
why does AU have to wait almost 3 freaking weeks longer!?
it takes 3 weeks to ship a game from the US to AU does it?
actually no it does not, i have bought many games from the US latest being L4D2 and it only took 10 days to get here!
if M$ can do worldwide releases, if nintendo can do worldwide releases than why not sony?
thats one of the main things about sony, they treat the US like f*cking royalty and everyone else as peasants!
Unless I'm mistaken, Move releases here on the 16th. That's not a three week gap mate. By the way, GT5 is being released here 1 day after the US, and KZ2 was actually released the day before the US got it. It might be rare, but it happens. Quit complaining.
Peace.
it is almost 3 weeks longer, US gets the move update for heavy rain on the 22nd were not getting it till the 8th thats a 17 day gap and last time i checked 3 weeks is 21 days so 17 is close to 21 is it not?
GT5 is not releasing here 1 day later, its releasing 2 days later.
US release is november 2, AU release is november 4.
ok, KZ2 big deal, one game out of the thousands that have been released?
thats pathetic!
Granted, but should the patch not be available on the same day?
This is good 'cause I haven't bought the game yet!!!
