At this rate, you really can't miss visiting PlayStation Home for more than a week, or you'll miss out on a ton of new stuff.
The latest update is a big one, as detailed at the PlayStation Blog : as of August 12, the gates to the Presentation Podium will open once again to celebrate the impending launch of PlayStation Move. It's an exclusive community event and first thing in the morning, visitors will automatically receive a unique Move controller outfit that will be your key to access the full event. You and three buddies can then participate in the team challenge, in which you can earn new versions of the outfit, all in the aim of going for the ultimate prize- "a PlayStation Move outfit complete with the iconic fully animated multi-colored orb." So if you want to become a bigger part of the Home world, and you're all sorts of interested in Move, now's the time to jump into the friendly virtual environment.
But it hardly ends there. They continue to celebrate the second week of the "Empire Strikes Back" 30th anniversary with a few more "Star Wars" costumes (Han Solo, Luke Skywalker, and Boba Fett included), and they'll even have a Home booth up at the Star Wars Celebration V this weekend in Orlando, Florida. If you plan to attend, feel free to stop by the booth and say hello to GlassWalls. Then there's a homage to the new PSN game, Top Gun : if you purchase before August 24, you'll get a free limited-edition flight suit for your Home avatar. Oh, and game/movie screenwriter Jack Epps Jr. will be in the Central Plaza to hang out and chat on Monday, August 15, at 5:00 p.m. PDT (8:00 p.m EST) You just gotta wear your Top Gun avatar t-shirt to participate.
Home is jumpin'. Come on in and say hello to your PlayStation friends.
When exactly can i get the move costume? like 1:00 am or like 7:00 am?
So much stuff showing up at home, that's pretty awesome.
Who is GlassWalls?
One of the Home community managers. Basically an official community leader.
Ah. My inner Star Wars nerd got the best of me over the weekend, and I purchased the Snowspeeder suit and the blue lightsaber.
I then hung out in the Mos Eisley Cantina for a half hour listening to the house band.
Yeah, I know.

Look at it this way, when you first saw the movie, the thought of being able to have that outfit, the lightsaber, be in the cantina bar and listen to the band was probably as much science fiction as the movie was. And now, you are making your daydreams come true – in Home. Can't be a bad thing, can it?
Home is just a big social costume party. I wish there was a little more to it.
Give me a mission to do!
The inFamous space has some stuff. Don't even ask me about the payphone though.
Soo… what's with the payphone?? Just kidding XD Anyways, I will certainly be visiting home for both events. In fact they may even end up on my calender.
Sodium One, Salt Shooter.
"Salt shooter" That is so wrong…
True. I've yet to check out Sodium One.
i was thinking about getting move, even though its ludicrously expensive!
but, almost all the launch titles have been pushed back to late october!
the fight, the shoot, the new time crisis game is aparently not releasing here!
i was getting it for socom 4 too, but now thats not out till next year either!
sorcery and heros on the move are not due out next year either!
is there one hardcore game being released on moves launch?
come on the launch lineup cant be this pathetic!
gee, and i thought the ps3 had a weak launch lineup!
guess ill be canceling that move preorder tomorrow.
You do know that those titles were announced to arrive in October, right? There are still plenty of titles coming out for launch in September. I haven't seen any delays. Where are you getting your "information"?
there is?
only game ive found thats releasing on launch day is sports champions.
sorry, but i aint spending 200+ bucks for a stupid kids game!
Are you guys trying to be sarcastic or something. Sodium One Salt Shooter was sweet!. The rail gun was a beast but it used to much power and overheated to fast. Seriously though, what is up with that payphone? I couldn't figure it out. Oh at Hezzron, theres more to home than meets the eye. Plus I just enjoy good HD graphics and the graphics in Home are splendidly beautiful. Especially the underwater scene at the Seaside Memories site. Imagine if they could let your avatar actually swim! I think home is real slick.

sorry that was meant for that spammer.
Rule #1, don't feed the trolls. Cochise, there's no point answering them, they won't answer back. It's tempting though.
you merchandise is all fkae.
I really hope that they have fixed the Cantina space, it's unusable unless you have really good bandwidth.
As of last night, it was working well for me (including the streaming video), except when I tried to change my outfit right after I entered (idiot move, really).
I do have a better connection than your DSL, though.
