The original wasn't so hot but we're hearing some very good things about the sequel. And remember, RPGs still do give you some serious bang for your buck.
In a recent GamerZines interview with TopWare Interactive's PR & community director Jake DiGennaro, we learn that Two Worlds II will take you a minimum of 25 hours to complete and if you really immerse yourself, it could take well over 40 hours. With so many people often complaining about short single-player campaigns for $60 these days, perhaps this sounds very attractive. Said DiGennaro:
"The main storyline will take players roughly 25 hours to complete, with an additional 15-20 hours of side-questing and exploring. But don't forget there is an entirely separate online co-op campaign, as well as PvP and the highly anticipated 'Village Mode' to keep players busy in the world of Antaloor long after they conquer the single player campaign!"
If you don't already know, Village Mode allows you to own and control one particular location in the fantasy virtual world. As you're the landowner of the area, you must manage resources and defend the citizens; you can even take on new quests and go visit the Villages of other players. And really, don't be too put off by the review scores you see for the first Two Worlds ; the previews for the sequel are really very encouraging and we're hoping for a satisfying RPG experience.
