How many of you have said to yourselves, "damn, it'd be cool if I could get a job in the gaming industry." Well, now you have a great option if you live in or near Seattle.

The Game Employment & Education Conference could be your ticket to a world where you actually enjoy your work (gasp!), and it's being held on February 24 at the Meydenbauer Center in Bellevue, Washington. The event will sport educational lectures, networking opportunities – pass that resume around! – and perhaps even a shot at recruitment.

One of the major highlights of the conference is the presentation of Supreme Commander by Gas Powered Games. After the demo concludes, GPG and ArenaNet will conduct a Q&A with a focus on game design, game testing, producing, artistry, etc.

If you're on the ball and register early, you'll only have to pay $45 for the event, which goes on all day. If you wait until the last second, "day-off" tickets will cost $60. If you're interested in learning more about the GEC and it's 2007 schedule, check out their website .
