If you hadn't noticed, we at PSXE are big fans of Bioware's Dragon Age: Origins , which has certainly reawakened my age-old love of RPGs and should definitely be a big title for the holidays.

In the game, you can hand out gifts to your party members, which will impact their Approval Ratings. The Approval Rating dictates how that character feels towards you and this changes depending on how you answer questions in the game, how you treat them, and what sort of gifts you place in their hands. The only snag is that a gift is only perfect for one particular character; while others will appreciate it, only one will respond with great thanks and appreciation. You can sometime figure out what a character desires by paying close attention to their personality, how they react in discussions, and listening to hints they may drop in conversations you have with them. However, sometimes it's just too obscure and so, we give you the very nearly complete Gift Giving Guide . It includes most of the Gifts you will find in the game, and the character that will best respond to the item in question. In this way, you can get the definite edge.

Besides, some characters – like Morrigan – are often very difficult to please, so you may never know what will make them happy. If you really want everyone to like you, this guide will prove invaluable.

That's cool, but i still need to get this game. But to tell you the truth i don't think i will within the next month. I have already bought all the games i wanted this Q4. I might buy it on an impulse buy though ūüėČ

This system is funny because it reminds me of the gift giving in DOA Extreme Beach Volleyball, lol. Looking forward to this game now that it has the seal of approval, the last time I went against PSXE's tastes I burned $60.

yeah this game is a gem. but ive gone against psx a few times and found myself srprisingly happy with my purchase. just saying sometimes the game that doesnt get a great review but rather mediocre, is sometimes the perfect game for you.

everyone hated haze, i loved it.
besides its bugs its a brilliant game, couple more months polish and it could of been the halo killer the sony fanboys touted it up to be.
owell, theres always crysis 2, thats going to be GOTY 2010 no doubt nothing can change that.
unless half life 2 episode 3 comes out, but well that aint gona happen ūüôĀ

That's true, I had a lot of fun with Afro Samurai, but I didn't really mean going against the scores, just the overall taste. One reason I gravitated to this site was Ben and Arnold have the same tastes as me moreover.

Its annoying how Xbox and PC have this now but ps3 get it on the 20th….at least here in the UK.

Looking forward to it despite seeing nothing new about it. Highly doubt it will be a patch on DS.

Im contemplating whether to use that guide though…hmm

I may get this game…RPGs are such time sinks though and I haven't finished Demon's Souls or Ratchet and Clank yet. Also kicking around the idea of going for the plat in Uncharted2 if crushing doesn't break me.

I have been saving every time I am about to dole out a gift or before I have a conversation with a travel buddy. It is getting tedious to say the least but this game is so damn involved that I have been trying to make sure I do everything the best possible way which translates into my save saying 32 hours in with an actual of about 50+ hours played. But I love it. It really makes you feel connected to the characters and you really want to do what is right and evolve the relationships between everyone.
