As usual, certain franchises just continue to push forward, regardless of either critique or financial success. Now, we all know the Gundam series does just fine in Japan, but none of us can figure why none of the games are even remotely good.
The latest issue of Famitsu had a bunch of cool stuff, including that interview with Gran Turismo creator Kazunori Yamauchi, and the announcement of the Gran Turismo 5 demo for Christmas Eve. The magazine also included an updated list of future PS3 titles, and one of those games was Gundam Musou from Bandai Namco.
There was no additional information, besides the "TBA 2007" release date, but that "Musou" name isn't entirely unfamiliar. Koei's Dynasty Warriors franchise is called Shin Sangoku Musou in Japan, but that may not mean anything. All we do know is that Mobile Suit Gundam: Crossfire was probably the worst PS3 title for the system's launch.
Maybe they'll get it right this time. We can always hope.
