Square-Enix Launch Downloadable Classic PC Shooter Remake:

The PSP Go! has launched, and game publishers have been frivolously adding content to the PSP's PlayStation Network. Square-Enix is also on the bandwagon, as they have launched Thexder Neo on the PlayStation Store. An overhauled remake of a 1985 PC classic, this side-scrolling arcade shooter boasts revamped visuals, 6-player online races, sleek animation, transforming mechs, and much more. And what's it cost? A mere Hamilton…that's $10.

IL-2 Flies On Over to the PSP:

505 Games and 1C Company have announced that the PSP version of IL-2 Sturmovik: Birds of Prey is now available for you to download for $29.99. Following hot on the heels of the very solid PlayStation 3 version, IL-2 boasts 30 missions and 30 realistic aircrafts. If you're looking for a decent air-combat game, give this one a chance.

Red Faction Guerrilla Gets Third DLC:

The third in downloadable packs for Red Faction: Guerrilla is officially out. Called the Smasher Pack, it features eight all new maps for the Wrecking Crew multiplayer mode, and all new mode called "Behemoth." In Behemoth, conventional weapons are replaced with the three Walkers – the Heavy Mining Walker, Light Mining Walker, and the Combat Walker. The downloadable add-on for the game is now up on PlayStation Network for $4.99.

Not sure about that Red Faction game. I see a lot of copies just sitting on the shelves. At least they know how to price dlc.

Well red faction's highly anticipated collector's edition was not in NA but 70 dollars for a game these days is too much 60 was bad enough 50 was just okay and any thing under was awesome!!!!

Here is a News Flash for you, it is cheaper to buy UMD games than to download them from PSN. Siliconera website has a list of all the prices.
I doubt there will ever be a sale like download one game get the next one 50% off like disc sales.

Here's a News Flash for you 'Goner'!
The PSPgo doesn't have a UMD drive! So digital is the only way to enjoy games. And not everything on the PSN is available in UMD format! So this is GREAT news!

i wish they would let you use walkers whenever you want in single player mode for RFG.
i dont understand why games do that, create some kick ass awesome device or weapon than let you use it like twice in the game if your lucky.
walkers are so cool, i thought once you finish the game you would have one at your base camps but nope.
what is the point of spending all the time and effort creating something than restricting its use to once or twice.
i hate it when games do that, and also when games wipe your status.
once i have finished a game and have unlocked certain items i should be able to start the game again with the items i unlocked.
i hate it when games force you to re unlock or re buy everything everytime you replay the game, it really destroys the replay value.

I'm in total agreement with you, anything you unlock, you should always be given an option to enable or not (like with a password or option to save). .

I haven't beat RFG yet, I'm savoring the return to Mars. Their price for DLC is fair, though free would have made sense because the game coulda had a bit more of a "HOLY ****, now that was TOO cool" factor, lord knows it was in development long enough!

OFF-TOPIC: FALLOUT 3's price for DLC……..WTF? In this economy? After I buy a "Collector's Edition"?! W….T….F….?

I've always thought every game should just have a level select once you beat it. Now that, I think, would up replay value.
But I rarely see local multiplayer or custom soundtracks either so apparently asking for even basic things that add value to any game is too much.
