Guitar Hero 5 Queens of the Stone Age Track Pack:
Activision has announced that, available now, the Queens of the Stone Age track pack is live on the Guitar Hero store for you to download. It includes all-new and remastered versions of music from the self-titled first record, including: "Mexicola", "Avon", and "How to Handle a Rope". It would've been nice to get some songs out of "Rated-R", and especially "Songs for the Deaf", but you can't have it all. The track pack will sell for $5.49 on the PlayStation Store.
SNK Classics Downloadable for PSP Now:
SNK Playmore has announced that a collection of their titles has gone live on the PSP's PlayStation Network to be downloaded and used with the PSP Go!. The games include: Metal Slug Anthology, SNK Arcade Classics Vol. 1, The King of Fighters Collection: The Orochi Saga, and Samaurai Shodown Anthology. As you can see, all of these games are compilations, and with a price tag of $19.99 each, they're actually worth the price of admission.
The Beatles: Rock Band Sponsors 2009 MTV Europe Music Awards :
While it's unluckily to turn out anything as controversial as our very own American award show, thanks largely to Kanye West, you may still find some pleasure in knowing that The Beatles: Rock Band will be one of the main sponsors of MTV's European award show in November. And it makes perfect sense, too, since what better platform is there for MTV Games to represent their very own creation and not have to shell out an arm and a leg for it? Oh, and if you want another reason to tune in…the very hot Katy Perry will be hosting.
OMG SNK's milking its fighting frachise! (King of Fighters)
/sarcasm
Will probably get the KOF collection
Just so everyone is aware, these will be little "news bites," so-to-speak; several news headlines will be included in these to keep you up to speed.
We'll keep doing the full news stories, too, of course, but this just adds to the coverage. 😉
Yup, they are a good idea since there is no point on trying to write a full article on small stories. ('',
Your site is better for it. Thanks.
Yep, came in here to post what Ben said. I'll be putting together quick little news bites into groups of three per article. Usually stuff that's too short to write an entire article about.
Awesome new feature for the site.
QOTSA!!!
now i really wanna play GH5
wonder if they will have more songs?
because i remember on RB 1 that there was a qotsa track pack #1 but they never had anymore songs
they should make a GH:QOTSA…. i would buy it
I'm surprised that they didn't do a Foo Fighters one to go along with their greatest hits album releasing. Although now that I think of it I probably wouldn't buy it. I've been kind of dissapointed with every album the Foos have put out since "the color and the shape" That one was their best work IMO.
@Qwark
I second that! Although it prolly wouldn't sell well enough to warrant it, sadly..

@ mrsinuschill
even better, QOTSA rock band
The Beatles: Rock Band scares me. Apparently Michael Jackson was murdered over owning the rights to the Beatles song catalog…….now, so soon after his death, all this Beatles stuff is coming out. Spooky.
CHA-CHING!
wow
looking forward to more SNK Classics
